Would love to see Roy Keanes face too mate if we beat them.
Didn't he say after the City game " It's only Tottenham Up next " ?
Conte should put a banner saying that in our dressing room before the match.

We all know the sky bias against Spurs anyway and if Kane has a stormer it will be about him being too good for us.

From our point of view a win takes us joint 4th I believe, albeit Arsenal will have two games in hand but they do have a far trickier run in than we do.

I honestly believe if we beat United and West Ham we will get top four.

This proves your point. His two assists for Kane and the other through ball to Son are from a central-ish areas. Don’t think I’m exageratting when I say that was one of the best individual performances of the season, probably only bettered by Kane vs City. I think as Hudd also said, it seems like Kulusevski may be helping getting the best from Doherty too.

It’s a great compilation and if you watch Kulu in the clips, you realise that he is taking up positions and doing things with the ball that Lucas simply wouldn’t do. And it gives Doherty a pivot to play off down the right. They look well suited to each other.

I’m not trying to trash Lucas by the way, love the guy. But that simply isn’t his game.

    Jamie Redknapp is also ready.
No bottle, no fight, no confidence. A really Spursy performance. No depth in midfield and weak at the back. I'd take the Utd team over Spurs any day.

I was thinking the same thing. Kulu's positional awareness and anticipation of what will happen in 2,3 moves' time is already outstanding for such a young player. And yes, totally different to Lucas who plays what I would call a much more 'reactionary' game. The fact that he lost his place to Kulu almost instantly is really telling.

It's early doors though and the reality is Everton offered absolutely zilch all game. There are far sterner tests ahead.

It’s not even about trashing Lucas, I’ve often said he’s a very good squad player (like Lamela was minus the injuries), he’s just not productive enough to be a regular starter. You need more guys like him in your squad but more guys like Kulusevski (based on early impressions) in your first XI.

Same page had a highlight reel for the Swede too:

Very smart player with the ball, silky and technical. If he keeps this up he’s going to become a huge crowd favourite and an absolute no brainer to trigger the release clause. If he and Doherty can repeat their performance from Everton against Utd, it could see huge success for us.

If he keeps it up we won’t have to trigger the buy option, the obligation will activate and take care of itself. It’s not even that much money for such a young player that, if we end up one way or another making it permanent, will be PL-proven by then. Less experienced young players will have gone for much more.

It was good watching that back. I'd been under the impression that he was heavily left-footed, but there were at least 2 or 3 passes plus 2 solid crosses with his right foot in that clip alone.

More importantly, he looks like a "percentage" player.
The movement/passing/crossing of such players in the main
leads to a more productive outcome by the time the attack ends.

"If he keeps this up he’s going to become a huge crowd favourite and an absolute no brainer to trigger the release clause."

    To maintain a game goal + assist rate of 1 in 3 + 1 in 2 over
a season would be immense. Did peak Eriksen achieve that ??

Yeah it’s a really promising start.

Eriksen managed 69 goals and 90 assists in 305 Spurs games in all comps, so averaged a goal contribution every 1.9 games.

Early request... With Hesgoal.com switching off PL games, does anyone have any reliable streaming sites? (vipleagues is also a no-goer these days...)

    Thanks in advance :emoticon-0148-yes:

https://wiziwig1.eu/soccer Lots of pop ups, but you can normally get there eventually.
https://redi1.soccerstreams.net/ Tons of choice and some of them are worthwhile.

Technically yes, given the bugger also posts "highlights"

This used to happen, like, ten years ago trying to find dodgy wrestling streams on Youtube...

And I honestly believe that even if Spurs beat United, West Ham and Arsenal, they will find a way to collapse out of the top four, probably via some kind of bizarre and one-of-a-kind circumstance.

I'm not swinging at the football this time, Lucy.

cricfree, all depends on teams playing though. Big game can be very buffery, smaller games usually run very well.

On the back of a strong victory, 2 new players settling in, making and scoring goals, key players returned from injury, top striker back to his best, outcast failure RWB a revelation, defence looking much more secure.....

...Prepare for a massive disappointment! This is your Spurs! :emoticon-0148-yes:
