Not sure if I feel sorry for them or not - From the BBC:

"Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel raised the prospect of his players wearing a "message for peace" on their shirts, after mobile network provider Three suspended its shirt sponsorship deal with the club.

"Maybe the worry is more to find enough shirts that we can play in, with the sanctions," Tuchel added. "But as long as we have enough shirts, and as long as the bus is full of fuel, we will arrive and we will be competitive." "

Nike are sticking with Chelsea. Apparently their deal is for 60m a season over 15 years (unsure when signed). Surely if Chelsea don’t get an owner that can reliably keep them near the top of league and regularly in Europe that is hideously bad value for them? When I assume they have a behaviour related get out clause? Or maybe they don’t and that is why some of these sponsors are sticking with them - no choice

And the proposal that a new regime might not regularly get champions league is not completely outlandish. A new owner is highly unlikely to underwrite the same level of spending. And simply “very wealthy” owners spending lots has not been a guarantee for other clubs

And interesting one. I guess I lean towards that they can’t get out of it

Shows how different a ball game it is though. Their kit sponsor alone likely exceeds all of our sponsorships combined. Potentially by a significant amount

It would be great if Brighton could get a draw from this, though.

So on another day, Brighton could have been down to 9 men.

    Very, very happy for Brentford.

That puts to bed any chance of Watford or Norwich catching them (they will both struggle to get to Brentford's current total of 30 points, let alone whatever Brentford's final total is).

There's still an outside chance that Burnley could catch them, but for the first time in ages my money is on Brentford to survive now. Burnley are now my favourites to go, very closely followed by Leeds.

Just watched the United - Spores highlights. Ronaldo phenominal, 807 career goals and the seasons not over yet. I thought His second goal was the best because He SPRINTED to get on the end of it !
Never been a big fan, but wow what a career.
