As I understand it, they are allowed to continue paying their players and covering matchday costs, till the end of May.

Scum fans on TV making complete arses of themselves.
Couldn't have happened to a more deserving bunch of ****s.

Never mind, once they're bankrupt and move to a run down ground in Walthamstow, they can with justification call it The Shed <laugh>

Although they can continue in theory, in practice it's going to be difficult for them to continue as Abramovich was subbing the club/business to the tune of roughly £75m a year just to keep them afloat....... Without that sort of money they're fecked and it couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch........

I do feel for the many many people whose livelihood is reliant on Chelsea football club...the local shops, people who sell programs/work in the bars/food kiosks in and around the ground, all of whom will be out of a job. I do feel sorry for them. As for anyone else related to the club, players, staff and supporters...you chose your bed, and lorded it over everyone when you were the richest kids on the block and you bought your success, so don't expect any sympathy now it is all coming tumbling down.

Wouldn't it be brilliant if we swapped divisions with them next year.

The irony is that for 99.9% of other clubs at least a part of me would have some sympathy for the fans (not Spurs, obviously). But in this case, despite deep meditation, on line empathy training, and a short course in big wheel Buddhism, I can’t find a molecule of pity for them, anywhere. In fact, quite the reverse, I’m loving it, never has Schadenfreude been so good.

Bayern and Real Madrid already hovering around a few of their players apparently.

That revenue/ work is for a few hours less than once a week for nine months of the year Dave. And we are continuously told there are lots of jobs out there.

A quick visit to the Chelsea board made for hilarious reading.
So much wailing and crying and hailing Abramovic as a hero.

    ****ers.

I really don’t get the outrage at this.
Football is tribal…you chant the name of your heroes and slag of your rivals. It’s just part of what we do….our fans are no angels

Would you be happy with a club chanting the name of Goebells or Himler - both supporters of Hitler?

At best, it's insensitive. At worst, it's crass.

Plus, any chance to have a dig at these knuckle draggers is a bonus

Our fans have been just as bad at times….let’s not be too hypocritical
