Expected spending £91 m on players and playing poor teams beat Chelsea now and that would be brilliant !.
2 bottles of blue pop, a portion of cheesy chips, and how old is your sister?(translation from Mackemish)
We'll have to wait for a few hundred million to be spent then next season if they recruit well why not. I expect bumps in the road but eventually there only one result and its nufc competeing for the very highest of honours
In the words to the soon-to-be-below-us Scousers, calm down, calm down. Let's not overlook that surviving is a miracle - no team that's failed to win any of the opening 14 matches has EVER survived. We've got some tough ones during the run in, so 40 points would be unreal. But in terms of relegation, everyone down there is scrapping and a lot of points will be lost. Leeds look even worse than they did under Bielsa, Everton have no bottle, Burnley are still poor, Brentford will continue to struggle. I'm just looking at 11th, "winning" the bottom half of the division. So'ton, Brighton, Palace, we've got enough to finish above all three. I think Leicester/Villa/Wolves will just keep their noses in front. And then it's the Summer transfer window. With PIF backing. Howe knowing what he wants. Ashworth bringing his experience. A new CEO. New sponsor. Just assume I'm always sat with a begging bowl and will gratefully receive match tickets.
Down South. Can get to London easily, So'ton my closest club, Bournemouth/Brighton about an hour or so.
I'm the same! The more South coast/London clubs in the EPL the better, Watford and Brentford stay up and 2 of Burnley, Leeds and Everton to go down for me!
Amusingly, in the Championship of 24 clubs, 5 are Southern and 2 of them are 1st and 2nd!! Another 2 are 6th and 7th! Only Bristol (too far for me anyway) letting the Southern softies down.
