I do wonder whether the Cup thing got into the players heads after the great win against WHU. We'll find out next Sunday I guess.
Ditto. Wrote the same a few minutes ago. The 'beef' has been annoying as f*ck. Good luck to yourselves. Gonna be a fun club to support for the next few seasons at least. Jealous!
Eddie has done a hell of a job there for you so far. You looked organised, resilient and with some world class ****housing going on too. Not convinced either side deserved to win - we weren't anywhere near our best, other than a spell in the first half where we had control. Your lot didn't actually threaten that much, but managed to out-press us in the second half, and exposed our weakness around decent crossed deliveries. I hope it doesn't turn into a feud either. I don't like your owners, and I think Staveley looks like a deflated cheap sex-doll, but your fans have always been decent. Good luck for the rest of the season.
Been saying for the last two years that Djenepo should be used as a sub, pure and simple. Shouldn't be starting games. He's only effective when the game has slowed and the defender's are tired.
I've been trying to think of what she looks like for ages. This is it. No better comparison. Sad thing is, I probably still would. If you know what I mean.
Decent fans? Entitled ****ers, who like us have won **** all but unlike us think the football gods owe them 'cos Ashley only spent 30 odd million on a player. Now, with money behind them cut about like a bunch of pricks larging it up on the Internet as if they're something special.
Their 'proper' fans are alright. The internet is full of pricks larging it up - the #saintsfc Twitter tag is a nightmare at the best of times. Agree with you on Ashley though, there's a lot of entitled whinging that goes on around him.
Meh. Just one of those nights. Need to beat Watford on Sunday though ahead of the FA Cup QF the week after.
Also, fair play to Newcastle for selling out the away end on a Thursday night for their longest journey in the PL.
To be honest I feel sorry for the Newcastle fans. They must feel a bit conflicted, their club is owned by one of the most evil oppressive regimes in the world. But they can’t simply stop supporting them.
