If I were paying what a chav pays for a season ticket I'd want an extra ticket given to me as compensation. But in reality what's to stop a bunch of mill wall cretins getting in free and having a riot etc. Can't give tickets away randomly. The sanctions also seem to straight jacket what can be done. Seemingly not tickets can be issued free or not.
So you'd prefer to be in an empty stadium and kick up a fuss about kids getting a chance to attend a game free, maybe developing future generations of support, because you've already paid over the odds for a ticket? That's a pathetic argument mate, selfish too. I've not seem anything saying they can't give out free tickets, they're not allowed to sell anything. Passing them to schools isn't random either.
All chavs are selfish ****s. They sang ambramovich's name while Ukrainians are dying. Things the same argument about you buying a house and me getting given a house for free right beside you. I'd presume they have to open some office or other and either order paper tickets or generate digital tickets or whatever. In the end they have been given a ruling and they should have half crowds, they should have no away fans, they should be sanctioned for what they are.
Only two Premier League teams remain unbeaten in 2022: - Liverpool - NEWCASTLE Newcastle's undefeated streak of nine matches is their longest in the top flight since a run of 14 games in 2011. WHAT A TURNAROUND!
Free tickets are given out at the discretion of clubs plus cheap or even free tickets to schools / youth organisations is fairly normal behaviour throughout football for the reasons Zanjinho has already given . I have a visceral dislike of Chelsea due to visits to a windswept Stamford Bridge which appeared to be populated by numerous examples of the various links between the Apes and early Homo Sapiens yet even i fail to see why Chelsea FC should face extra punishment once the Govt has taken financial control .
based on a really strong defence despite all the "Howe can't organise a defence to save his life" talk .
Chelsea should be made to "sell" tickets and the proceeds go to the Red Cross mission in Ukraine. As for them going to the wall - I'd be happy for them to return to their mid-table mediocrity and have to work at success rather than buying it with dirty money.
I don't think it's 'extra punishment ' it's tied up in the same thing. They can carry on paying wages and transport costs up to the limit set but they shouldn't be allowed to make profits while the whole mess is being sorted out. Not being allowed to sell tickets for away fans actually hands them a big advantage. Only ST holding home fans allowed in who wouldn't want that?
Roman was going to sell the club for £3bl and all the proceeds were going to help those in Ukraine, doubt they would make that amount in ticket sales
