Pundits and media know well their fans might be being punished but look at what they gained through all the dodgy money flowing through the club. Titles and trophies and European trips that fans of clubs playing by the rules were denied. They were happy to laud it over other fans. Now it's time for the consequences, they will have to get on with it. Old saying, if you lie down with dogs you will get up with fleas.
I don't remember many of those fans demonstrating against their club being owned by a Russian gangster, so I suppose they have to take what's coming to them.
Another thing worth noting here is that the PL should never have let the sale to Abramovich go through, nor the city and Newcastle sales. This should reflect badly on them but it won't. None of those sales were ethical, fair or in the interests of sporting competition.
At this point A) scummy fans sang ambramovich's same during.minutes applause for Ukraine. B) at this point only tickets currently active are allowed to be used. They cannot issue new season tickets as things stand for next season. C) at this point the chav Hotel, shops, etc etc staff/stewards/ground staff can be paid up to 31st May by the club. They could.all lose their jobs which is harsh on match day staff etc. D) no word from uefa at this point. They could be thrown put of cl which means someone gets a by in the qf or lille are let through. E) they are in effect in quasi administration. The could have a 10 point deduction under the rules in theory. Is the board still acting for ambramovoch for example. That would put them.out of Europe next season F) nobody will be going to Middlesbrough for fa cup unless Middlesbrough wish to offer the scummy away support tickets from their office and if they do god knows what kind of people might take it up to have a go. G) their stadium will be half empty for rest of season. H) they cannot really afford to travel in Europe at scale as 20k to get to say turin and back with 50 people, ship kit, book a full hotel and all of that seems a bit of an issue
Fully get that but not really the point I was making. The fans won't miss out IF the club opted to give tickets away. Why the? They can't sell them and the seats are just sitting empty. Give tickets to school kids or something and get a younger generation on side. Obviously I'd prefer them not to. Their fans are ****s and deserve what they get.
D - probably go out anyway since it's looking like they'll have to travel by coach G - Not if they give tickets away
I think they are not even allowed give them away as the shop must close.. in theory their arrogance might tread them to wish to give freebies.out but what does that say to "loyal" season ticket holders... and then of course the season ticket holders and people who went to earlier round are meant to get first go as cup tickets etc.
I doubt that a lot of this will happen. The club will still be able to operate at a basic level, surely? Wait until you see Biden’s news on what the Newcastle Owner did lol this is going to run and run.
Not much, just know the situation. Especially if given to youngsters. Don't need a shop to give tickets away, donate them directly to local schools. Could even just say first come, first served on match day.
I got what you were saying (about tickets) I was expanding on the idea of their fans being punished in general.
What a shame. Theyve fallen far from waving 20 quid notes at rivals when roman 1st took over. **** em, theyd not be so supportive of us if the shoe was on the other foot, infact i remember the joy of rivals when we were near administration after hicks and Gillett. I want em folded up and shut down and confined to the history books as club. personally anyway. Fuxk their **** fans
