I can't wait for the summer window.

We'll have to make sure we put sandbags outside our doors to stop the tears effecting our home insurance

    All absolutely correct mate.

It’s a shame your match results predictions are not on point. <laugh>

I reckon we will buy 2/3 top players and then build again.

I possibly shouldn’t but I feel like we are now safe.

If we can just pick up day 4 points from our next 4 away games that would be excellent.

We're not there yet, still think we'll need 9/10 points to be safe,if we can break the 30 point mark this month we'll be nearly there but 3 tough games,I'd take 2 or 3 points and then have a nice rest and go again.

I think Eddie should be given a few years at least, unless we're doing terribly and on the verge of relegation next season.

If we stay up next season, our target should just be top 10. Sensible. If we're in another relegation battle next season, then he should be sacked.

If we're challenging for top 10, that should be good enough.

Agreed. Incremental progress is fine so no relegation worries next term with a sniff of Top 8 is fine for me

I hope the owners aren't impatient and expect challenging for Europe next season.

    2022/23 - Top 10.
    2023/24 - Europa League.

Pretty standard, though, for everyone? Set goals, any deviation below achieving that will result in a sacking. The main challenge for Eddie Howe is attracting top tier talent and then managing ego's. I think he's got a lot to offer; and maybe our project helps elevate him accordingly, but if you're eventually competing for the signature of Haland how much does the manager reputation come into play?

Why the hell couldn't we challenge for a low end Euro spot next season? That's a LC win or like 7th/8th. This season we're already aiming for 11th or higher, it's not a quantum leap.

Replace Wood with Wilson, then replace Wilson with Jonathan David.
Replace Ryan Fraser with Enrico Chiesa.
    Jan Oblak in nets.
Rudiger into defence with, say, Batman.
Kessie signed for CM. You telling me that lot can't do better than Wolves or Wet Spam?!

It's just remaining grounded and not getting ahead of ourselves bro.

Top 10 is a realistic target. Just because we add a tonne of good players doesn't make it a good team.

Europa is possible next season, but top 10 seems like a minimal requirement target.

I'd actually hope that potential new signings would be shown those videos of Howe busting a gut on the training ground to work with his players. If I saw a potential manager working that hard, I'd have a favourable view of signing for him

Don't get me wrong, I'd rather we set about this project in the 'right' way, set realistic aims and gave Howe the tools to succeed. The board seem unanimously infatuated with him, Staveley talking in terms of "our Sir Alex" is a wonderful thought. It would be absolutely sensational to see an Englishman actually win the PL, and certainly be going toe to toe at the top end of the league. Watching Howe get one over people like Pep and Klopp would be beautiful.
