Not sure how anyone can doubt Mbappe ability. The guy is absolutely outstanding footballer. Pace is out of the world and finishing is brilliant.

Don’t see the French league so really can’t comment on his play most of the season. But just looking at stats CL 16-17 for Monaco 6 in 9 games 17-18 psg 4 in 8 18/19 4 in 8 19/20 5 in 10 20/21 8 in 10 21/22 6 in 8 33 in 53 not a bad record for someone that’s only 23 Everytime I’ve seen him he’s caused problems for teams. Just his pure pace out wide is always giving defenders something to think about so even if he’s not fully involved, his a constant threat on the break
He's very talented, he was the only threat to Madrid last night. He needs a move to a better league though, he's allowed to do what he wants at psg, is he willing to put the hard yards in, or us he another neymar. Maybe he’s not been asked to do that tactically though. Always hard to judge a player and say they don’t do this or what when you don’t know what they’ve been asked to do. Agree he prob needs to move on now, only 23 but with his style his best years are probably the next 5/6 years and needs to be playing at very top league. Don’t know why didn’t just sanction him 2 weeks ago. Seems pointless that they almost warn him it’s coming, he then says ok I’ll sell chelsea, get down the road with interested parties and now sanction him so can’t sell.

They won't. The government is putting a special licence in place as a culturally significant asset to ensure they continue, so they obviously don't want to see them go under, and at some point they'll be sold to other rich owners. If there's a short-term cashflow issue they can just sell one of their 1243 players.
