I don’t know about anyone else but I kind of want to win this game more than any other league match this season after the farce in January and Howe’s subsequent smug remarks about it. Not to mention the Newcastle fans’ comments which are so devoid of self reflection. They’d be howling if it was the other way around.

They already had the nerve to howl and scream about Ashley not investing in them which is nothing more or less than an outright lie. They are well up there in the spending tables.

I guess when you are committed to sticking your head in the sand you might as well go the whole way

 

Hopefully last week`s heavy loss against Villa (who were very good btw) will be a reality check, and normal service will be resumed. 2-1 Saints !

I'd like to give Newcastle a hiding but actually think that this is a far more difficult match than it would have been before Christmas when I think we would have been guaranteed three points. I think it will end up in a draw.

Yeah, there might just be a genuine moral argument here though eh. It’s not a secret that the owner is a murderer is it? Some might feel quite passionate about that. Just a thought.

 

We need to work harder then them and win our 1to1 battles

Not like JWP & Oriel to lose the midfield, hopefully Sally will be back and that will help by providing more aggression at the back
Happy to see Stephens or Bedders starting, but not together, rather paired with Valerie if Salisu not ready

Interested to see how this new Newcastle look and see Joelinton as a midfielder
