Given the scale of destruction there, it would be highly unlikely that nobody was killed. Unless the place had already been evacuated.

Their opinion was that it was a symptom of Boris and co's lack of planning and preparedness (where have we heard that before ...) and that they were trying to use a Visa system set up for Asylum seekers that they've used in the past. Which is totally unfit for purpose given the scale and immediacy of this refugee crisis. They also said that Liz Truss and Priti Patel, who would be the two needed to sort out a new system don't really get on with each other and they weren't sure if they'd even picked up the phone to speak to each other about how to progress this
