With our game now two days away its time for our thoughts to turn to the weekend and team, formation and result.

The team should be the easy bit with even our Steve not daring to alter a winning team. I’m sure he sees a temptation to bring Catts back but having been brave enough to drop him it would be suicidal to bring him back, also very unfair on Vaughan and Colback.

The formation we all say is a 4-4-2 but is it? It looks more a 4-3-1-2 to me with Sess given the freedom to move and it suits him so its..

    MIG
    OSHEA..TURNER..BROWN..RICHARDSON
    VAUGHAN..COLBACK..LARSSON
    SESS
    BENDTNER..WICKHAM

The result I hope and pray is a win for us and if we play how we can it will be. Bent will be determined to score but our defence will be just as determined to stop him. We know all about him but he wont be so sure about us and my main concern is the lack of pace of Turner.

Our midfield should cope and the key will be Bendtner and Wickham. Bendtner gets better every game and will be out to show Bent he is not missed, Wickham will be out to impress on his full home debut.

It will be a far from easy game but provided we turn up, still a concern to me, we should have enough with home advantage to see it through.

Am I confident, I would say more hopeful than confident, I expect a win and hope I’m looking forward to football fist on Saturday evening.

Not sure of your logic of putting a right footer on the left and left footer on the right. The formation above was the one so successful against Bolton second half so i'd start with that!

I too would stick with the team and formation that looked good in the second half against Bolton...

I've rated Mig ever since I first saw him, and feel that his recent loss of form was more down to having an unsettled defence in front of him. I still feel that he will become a cult hero with our fans in the years to come.

It was only a poor Bolton last week but it looked like the players had finally began to click with the slick passing & movement. Think if we turn up again with that attitude it will be an easy win for us 3-0.

Am always positive, well until 2:55 ish on saturday afternoon.

Heart says 433 with bendtner, Ji and Whickham up front.

Head says he'll change back to 451.

There is no way he will play three up front, but I would be very disappointed if he reverted to 4-5-1. I'm very hopeful that he will stick by the winning formula that saw Bolton off.
