I am not going to get carried away with a win against fleetwood at home. We should be winning these games but it’s a sign of how far we have fallen that we are getting excited about that result. We have to do far far better to make the playoffs.
Nice to see onien get a goal hopefully he will continue in that vein of form and make a positive impact in the remaining games. Clarks goal was great, has to start the next game said it on his debut for us, he looks like he has something about him that you don’t see often in league 1.

Agreed for the most part of tonight it was utter garbage , 3-1 really does flatter us . But we need this to turn into a run of positive run of results , can't afford anymore slip ups as teams around us just are not dropping points

Buzzing to see Neil slate us. Was poor.

Glad he did that. Standards matter.

I genuinely believe he’d have had strong words at half time and had a go at a few who deserved it. Lee Johnson wouldn’t have and that’s a fact.

Get the **** in! Absolutely disgusting performance but 3 points and that's all that matters. The tone was set in the first 60 seconds where we misplaced about 3 or 4 passes. Credit to the HC and to the team for turning it around, am just gutted Defoe didn't score at the end.

Quick word on Fleetwood who are by far the most shameful cheats I've ever seen in my 46 years. What an absolute joke of a football club. They got their just desserts tonight

Sad to say cos I'm a big fan, but Defoe is looking like a spectator from what I've seen so far :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Watched this 3 times now. It's excellent stuff. Puts happy clappers in their place and drives standards. It's all about standards.

Him saying that's the worst any of his side's have played and still won is a canny statement, considering we were playing Fleetwood who are very ****

Careless in possession and too frantic in the final third. Better in 2nd half but still not good enough

Andy Cole-at-Sunderland-esque sadly but at least his smart run off the ball created a chance for Clarke and he came close to scoring. Not what we needed in a striker signing but at least he made an impact.

I can't see him even getting match sharp, he has had so long not really playing to only really get cameos at his age he is never going to get up to speed. That is assuming his body is even able anymore!

Stewart would not have crossed that near the end for anyone else. I can imagine Defoe being well thought of among his teammates and Stewart seemed to want to give him a chance to score.

He might get a goal or two on the back of players putting it on a plate but I can't see him fighting for and finding tiny pockets of space like he used to.

    Yeah I didn't expect that.
We played better at Charlton but didn't get the rub of the green.
Hopefully we play a lot better on Saturday and also get that luck as well.

Just home we were **** got 2 nice breaks of the ball for first 2 goals then the 3rd was the only piece of quality in the whole game. I guess after Saturday we were due some luck and thank **** we got it tonight.

If Fleetwood weren't so concerned with ****ing around and time wasting they'd have won that game.

Anyway 3 points is 3 points. Another must win Saturday which will hopefully be a bit more comfortable.
