Good result, ****e game. I honestly think we were the better team for only about 10 minutes.

Evans and Defoe are going to find it hard to even get on to the bench

Absolutely. Long time since we've had 2 really mobile, ball-playing and ball-winning midfielders in there. OaU

No one thinking Clocky should be sacked after tonight's debacle? Putting scores up like Fleetwood have scored. Give your head a shake man. <laugh>

Massive credit for that turnaround and result. When you play that bad for 45 mins it is very hard to turn it around. I still thought most of the football was turgid but the effort, intensity and risk taking improved. Credit to Neil for making changes, but I do hope he has it in him to produce a cohesive style of play and get a consistency about them. Time will tell and fingers crossed, but at half time I couldnt have been more unimpressed, funny old game.

Oh and my highlight - our smiling ****house back on the pitch. What a lad he is. I thought he was outstanding. If we are going to play a lot of long and direct ball stuff (shudder) then he is the perfect man to scrap for and win second balls and give us possession in the final 3rd. Thought he did that well, and he took his goal brilliantly.

Credit to Clarke as well. Frustrating decision making at times, smashing it at defenders from a yard away etc, but never stopped wanting the ball and got his reward. Hope he kicks on.

Now for the weekend lets get another win and all of a sudden it will be 10 points from 12 and we will be on a run again. Be nice to see a bit of footy mind, but I suppose I will take another win in any way. Lets keep pushing and put things back in our hands.

    cheers again RTB...

gonna forget that first half was ever in existence, plus i had to make a dash for the crapper and missed the last 10 minutes of it and by the sounds of it, i made a good call.

how refreshing was it to see half time changes though, we improved from then on but still made really heavy going of it, shame arby had to make way but i actually tried to take more notice of evans and he did not get into the game at all, lots of pointing rather than looking for the ball...on that performance he is going to struggle to get back in the side and him going off was a good call.

not sure their lad deserved a second yellow mind, looked a foul but i never thought it was bad enough for a card, unless he had given the ref a lot of previous....don't think it made any real difference to the game either but it did not harm our last few minutes.

good confidence booster for the lads, good to see onien get some minutes (and his goal of course), thought defoe looked his sharpest so far...we are a far better team when we press fast.

Couldn't be more pleased for O'Nien to come back and make an instant impact. Looks like him and Matete might be the way forward, the two of them makes sense to me.

Honestly how do you sum that up ? For 70 mins looking around the ground this could be us at our very lowest as a club .
Fair play to go on and win 3-1 I really hope this Is the kick up the arse we need and go all guns blazing Saturday, gets some momentum going into the play offs for a change

Onien made a big difference when he came on, needs to start Saturday (I think the skipper needs a 'rest'). We were mostly awful tonight. Will be interesting to see how Neil calls that one. Good goal by Clark and the full 90 will do him good.
