I've considered this myself and came to the conclusion that we now play with 2 holding midfielders just like he does for England with Declan Rice. If anything it might help him and make it harder for teams to pin him down.

The downside is that we play very narrow now so those lovely driven 40 yarders might not be on as often.

I don't think it will be a problem for him. He will be a major part of the zonal press and that is one of his strengths when playing for England in a similar role.

Media reports a out Leeds being shafted by VAR this season, even on Saturday Phil Hay said Rodrigo deserved a penalty and now another report about how Joffy’s shot hit ghe hand of an Everton player but we only got a corner. There have been nailed on penalty shouts that VAR didnt even look at. Its been a shytshow for refs but these worong decisions are costly. Nobody complains at Leeds though

For anyone interested a bit of Sunderland news. Jack Clarke scored a screamer last night for the Black Cats in a 3-1 win. Clarke on loan from Spurs should be ripping L1 apart but must know his career at Spurs is over, so needs to step it up. Also one of the players I thought would be great for Leeds was sold in the summer to Sunderland. Niall Huggins a speedy, classy LWB played 4 games for them and then had a serious back injury. He is still in a back brace, but attending all the matches. Hope it gets sorted soon kid
