Maybe just ironing out the creases now. Russia calls off the invasion in exchange for Zelensky guaranteeing to not join NATO and giving Putin the Eastern part of the country? Putin gets to call his failed takeover a success, and Zelensky manages to not be murdered and Ukraine's government replaced with a pro Kremlin puppet outfit.
