Well sorry. Things cant always be nicy nicey. Im entitled to an opinion, and having lived nxt to soton the best part of my life i can tell u that there no better than the binners!! Come on supernorwich, i know that we have a reputation for being nice fans, but man up abit. I doubt they will be crying themselves to sleep!!
Don't forget Phil Boyer and Ted MacDougall, the last season we were promoted to the top flight! (Link to the Cherries too)
Typical Pompey mentality and no I don't mean the fans.........You obviously cannot see beyond the end of your nose. When you do look you only see what you want to see and not what is actually there!! The link between the canaries and Saints go way back probably back at least to the sixties for what ever reason. If you were a true Canary you would know that!!
down together and nearly up together too. I remember cheering Narge on in Europe all those years ago. Friendly people and never had a problem with them. Hope we give you a good spanking next year though (if we meet)
Can't believe I forgot Phil Boyer and Teddy Mac. I'll hang my head in shame. You canaries remember Graham Paddon? I know he didn't playf for Saints, but I worked with him and he was a really top bloke.
Unfortunately yes in 2007 at the age of just 57 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/2326185/FA-Cup-winner-Graham-Paddon-dies.html
Love the sentiment, but the Arctics have a line "Poured my aching hear into a pop song, never got the hang of poetry" and I would recommend a change of literary genre, or maybe singing! It is odd how we do seem to have become "buddies" over the years, but it is true that whenever I meet a Norwich fan there is immediately a strong football affinity that I don't always experience with other fans. Loved your League Cup win (85?) when Mick was able to get another domestic medal and was quite gutted when you then did a Brum and went down. Delighted you went up last year, mostly for you but also because you showed everyone it could be done. Wait there, we're coming to join you.
Nice rhyme! Hopefully not long until the Canaries and the Saints can meet again in the Premier League - a place where both sides belong!
I remember stopping at a pub in South Walsham one night and Graham Paddon was the landlord.Must have been late 70's-early 80's.
don't talk crap! JPT? who gave a flying pig about that??? our 'relationship' with saints isn't about the past two years - we've been 'together' for a long time!
