Well I for one would be sorry to see you go Sid. I agree the rivalry isn't there at the moment, and that is one of the reasons I don't enjoy the piss taking at the moment. It's only fun when you are at least competing in the same sphere. That's one of the reasons I haven't posted on your board since you were relegated from the Prem - too much of a chance that it could be seen as rubbing your noses in it even when it wasn't intended. Hopefully rivalries can be resumed again soon. It's good for the area to have us both up there and more fun too. I'm not up to date on who still posts on your board, and no doubt even among those I would have known there may have been a few name changes down the road. I had a fair few good convos over there back in the day though.

To be fair, this thread is meant to be a pisstake of all other clubs, but it does seem to get dominated by taking the piss out of you lot. For me, it's more a chance to have a chinwag with the few who still pop by. I hope you change your mind, but if not take care of yourself and stay healthy. You've always been a good poster on here and always welcome.

 

Sooo... in summary, Sid won't be back, but he will, but only to pop in, but he won't do owt else.

And we can still laugh at him, but it wont matter because he won't see it - unless he pops in - which he won't, but he might eveey now and then.

There's no rivalry because they feel they are no longer worthy.

Erm that actually IS the reason - your lowly position and our prospects are the entire reason for the loss of rivalry between the two clubs!

And why should we laugh at the Mackems? Well cos we always have done, just cos we've got rich we're not going to stop laughing at you! You'll always be a constant source of amusement. But yes even at our lowest nadir you've always been worse than us and always give us a comparitor to know things could be even worse. You'll always be the Sad Mackem Bastards!

And if you no longer consider us rivals and just some superstars out in the distance, then it might be time to change that sig, eh?
