Sky presenter "What advice would you give Kane?" Sheringham "Leave to play for a team that wins things" Sky presenter "What advice would you give Rashford?" Sheringham "Work hard to improve yourself instead of looking to leave" Gotta love the impartiality
Hmm, I don't know. Apart from his cross for Keane's OG, he was crud. We looked much better once Reguilon came on. I really want him to succeed too but sadly he provides scant evidence of it whenever he plays.
Bentancur plays like a midfield version of Berbatov…at his own pace Kulu is only a month older than the much overated Foden…looks the maturer player imo and very intelligent around the box. Expect him to get a few top bin finishes to keepers right in his time with us some great signings by Paratici
I worry about him mentally more than anything else. Doesn’t always seem to have the confidence to compete physically. There’s obviously a player there but his succession of injuries seems to have really affected his confidence.
He's a quality player. I know last season he didn't do particularly well, but the season before that, he looked very promising for Juventus and scored some absolute crackers. He's only 21 as well. I was stunned that Juventus allowed him to (effectively) leave permanently, especially for a fee that, relatively speaking, isn't that much.
I’ve seen lots of good comments about Doherty, a bit shocked but glad he’s finally showing delivering some decent performances. Conte really is a genius if he’s turned Doherty into a quality RWB
Just saw the highlights, some nice goals there but the pick of the bunch has to be the last goal, great ball by Doherty and a world class finish by Kane
Mixed emotions watching Dele come on , I always hoped he could find his old form for us but it wasn't to be and it was nice to hear the fans welcome him back , Kane gave him a welcome home tackle and I would love to have heard what Dier said to him at a corner towards the end
I think it was more the case that he lost his place to Chiesa last season, which is nothing to be ashamed of as the Italian is one of the best wide attackers in the world.
Romero picks up another yellow and has been picked for the next Argentina squad , although I thought he had a 2 game international ban , last nights yellow was only a "little" bit late and even last night's ref would struggle to have missed it, the way he plays we are always going to see a procession of yellows and with the ref last night it was a sensible decision to sub him
I still hate it when we faff around at the back. On a few occasions we nearly presented them with opportunities. And then we booted it upfield and scored either directly or indirectly after they failed to clear the ball.
I thought Son was pretty wasteful, actually. If he'd have been on it, then the scoreline could've been silly.
