You're not under the impression that we had the same owners in league one as we do now are you? I'm not even sure we were the richest club in the league, Leeds were there and I'm sure the MK Dons chairman has a bit of cash. We in fact spent very little money that season. God knows why I'm involving myself in this debate though.
For f*cks sake, how many times. My point was more that winning the 3rd tier wasn't much of an achievement for Liecester City. Can we not leave it at that?
Winning any league is an achievement. Ask Forest, it took them three years and they still had to come through the backdoor. I think leeds did too if I remember.
I can see what you're saying, but its simply not true. Please stop coming here with stupid ideas when you have no idea what happened. We won the league at a canter with a squad some people expected to finish lower down the league. We won the league due to having a squad who wanted to play for each other, not from 'buying the league'. I don't know why i'm even that bothered about it because its embarrassing for a club like us to have spent time in that division. I know you don't feel the same way, but i'd rather not talk about winning a league we didn't want to be in.
We dont have to put with this idiot much longer I have asked for Viking Erik to be banned from the Leicester board
Firstly, it has to be said it's very easy to say that we hire and fire to quickly just because we've had a lot of managers in the last 10 years. What's often ignored is that the actual mistake is appointing **** managers. ... this is often ignored about Newcastle too: Souness - as with you, ruined a top team Roeder - just couldn't cut it, most of his early form was arguably down to his assistant, one Alan Shearer. Form was ruined after he left. To be fair injuries were a problem then too Allardyce - rubbish in many ways, not going to get into that there, suffice to say he made perplexing decisions, poor signings, runied morale and gave derby four of their seven points that season Keegan - shouldn't have been re-appointed, was looking good but really could have treated the team and fans better with the way he left Kinnear & Shearer - suffered mostly by trying to get the best out of the joke of a team constructed by their predecessors Hughton - brilliant getting us back up, but that was as much as he could do really ...
Agreed about Souness, what an arsehole that man is Roeder - did really well in first season to get us into Europe. The year after we were too inconsistent. Although, Martins scored loads under him Allardyce - he thinks he is great, but is really **** and has a massive head Keegan - mixed emotions, always gunna love him, but agree that we should have got someone else Kinnear and Shearer - tbh, I never heard of Kinnear before we appointed him lol and yeah, Shearer was a poor choice at that time - we needed someone who had been there and done it Hughton - Love him, think he should still be our manager now tbh. Don't think we would be 4th, but would have finished in about the same position last season and would be doing quite well this year too
Its got to be hard to be the Newcastle manager with the all dispute with Mike Ashley and the fans. Alan Pardew has done a very good job under some very difficult circumstances with Andy Carroll being sold last minute. He was promised all the money and only received a little bit of it. Then you had the whole Joey Barton saga with him on twitter and losing Enrique But Pardew has got the current squad performing like the 2 Taylor's, Collocini, Krul, Best all looking decent players and playing alot better now then they was before and signings like Cabaye and Ba look quality signings. I think Newcastle could finish in and around the top 6 but they might need to spend a little in January
Lesta Gangsta? That has to be the most ******ed name I've seen on here. Then again, being a Leicester supporter I expect nothing less from you
Considering I live near Leicester and all the people I know that support your club are complete ****ers, idiots and generally not very intelligent people, I'd say it's a fair assumption. I know not all fans are like that, but the ones I've met don't give a very good account of your fanbase.
Every team has a few twats. Including Newcastle and Leicester. Same as every team has some decent fans including Millwall, just look what they did when all the riots was on
