I dunno. The guy was available from sporting for very little and nobody wanted him and the same old agent **** got involved and suddenly he was hot property to highest bidder. There wasn't exactly a big queue for the guy and for me if he was that good I have to wonder why. When you look at his stats for his last 2 teams , Utd and Sporting his scoring record is just less than 1 in 2 for both. 35 in 78 league for Utd and and 39 in 83 for Sporting, so there is a goal scoring midfielder there. The difference seems to me is that he is unstoppable at Utd, no matter how bad he plays, whereas under Klopp that wouldn’t be the case. Just look how he hooked salah off against West Ham for as he got fed up of him being a greedy twat in the match
