Don’t even trust KLD anymore. All hope sucked out of me. I think he’s just speaking out his arse. How can you misread the sensitivity around Madrox? Does he live under a rock?
Speakmann telling us it takes time, does he think we are thick, we have watched Wigan go from the brink to breezing promotion. Club is riddled with chancers. Long long way back. Such worrying times. We are about to become so irrelevant.
Not beyond the bounds of possibility we go in league two what decent players we have left will bugger off and won't be replaced with better
8 pages of nothing, mide aswell not been a meeting. Kld didn't really reassure me reading that . What happened to the investment that was already supposed to of been done just not announced mate @Prehab26 ?
I dont know why I was expecting more from those minutes but I was. Underwhelmed. To me it doesnt read like KLD is pushing for more shares, in fact he seems to suggest if someone else wants to buy them they can but he will keep control. Cant think of many rich people who would buy 51% of something and accept they have no influence and be told how much investment they need to stump up, no arguments. Of course this is all a not so subtle message to Madrox that no daft bugger will pay your price for shares without influence, so lower it and I will give you good money to buy Eastleigh. Thing is I have doubts Madrox have enough intelligence to realise that. The KS stuff makes me grumble as well. We arent bloody daft but he seems to think we are. All that guff about looking at value over the contract length when signing unfit players. Defoe is the player that disproves that nonsense. Likewise shifting Flannagan in January, he was worth far more here than away, at least in footballing terms. Then to say it would have been cheaper and easier to keep Johnson is ironic. I also laughed out loud when he said Neil gives us a better chance of promotion! It took weeks to appoint him and he was out of work and clearly wasnt first choice. Neil has come in and basically blamed the balance of the squad in place, the fitness of players signed, and the over reliance on philosophies etc. These are things KS has been trumpeting up to now. It will be interesting to see where the balance of power lies between those two come thr summer. The more I read of these fans meetings the more I think the club hit the panic button in January and a lack of nous got us making daft decisions, some of which fortunately didnt come off. I wish I could just focus on matches, but after reading this it is hard to. Need a good lift tomorrow night from the lads now
He's not going to make it public knowledge if he is trying to increase his shares. Deals aren't done in public
Correct we have every chance of getting into the play offs, I don’t think I doubted that happening. It’s my opinion we’re stuck with these chancers, they just won’t leave go of us.
