Are you asking about the incident I refer to? If so see here… https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/60641065
"Arteta said afterwards: "The fourth referee said, 'Mikel, you shouldn't be allowed to do that'" So he can do it as there is no law to say he shouldn't?
The fourth official is an arse. must remain within its confines except in special circumstances, e.g. a physiotherapist/doctor entering the field of play, with the referee’s permission, to assess an injured player Ergo the goal should have been disallowed and the correct sanction would be a yellow card showing a lack of respect for the game Absolutely inexcusable.
Maybe we can demand an apology !! I am getting really salty about all of these situations that we seem to get the thin end of the wedge on!!!
And I'm pretty sure spurs scored in a similar manner, but with the bonus of a second ball being on the pitch and, given there was no multi ball in play, a non match ball was used.
No, no evidence of a conspiracy at all, none whatsoever, nothing to see here... we really are that unlucky, as unlucky as an unlucky team is unlucky to be.
Even the ball boys were helping Arsenal with towels to clean the ball etc. The whole 3rd was a mess. Bad pass from Louza which I guess annoyed Hodgson then we let them play through us and Foster didn't even dive for the ball.
Social media is full of neagtivity again... Cleverly the butt of it this week..... Interestingly in a regular season , if such a one exists.,... losing 2-3 at home to the form top 4 team after drawing away at Manure would not be considered so bad......
They say he is too slow...... whenever a player makes a mistake of any sort...and we lose.... they become the butt of online abuse..... We have gone a long way from having a great bunch of good hearted supporters.... There is now a new bread expecting success whatever....
He normally does, but yesterday he looked to me as though he was simply having an off day - something that every player can be prone to. Even though a Louza mistake led to one of their goals, I was surprised that it was him taken off - genuinely thought that it should have been TC. And I'm not convinced by Roy's rationale for subbing Louza off - he didn't look tired to me.
I agree, but I also feel that given where we are and the ever declining number of games left, when it feels like we have an opportunity to get a point (or three) we really have to take it and it's frustrating to lose a game through some more individual errors rather then the opposition being too good for us. I'm pleased we're playing well (or at least better) but now that has to be converted into winning against mid-table teams we would mark in our fixture list as "winnable" games.
Yes ..of course..... it is just the virulent negativity that gets expressed on social media...and against a named player that I just dont like......Louza did a wayward pass that led to a goal... but nothing on that..... but loads dumped on Cleverly I agree though how dire the situation is ... but almost 60 years of supporting makes me a tad more philosophical about the situation I guess
