Didn't use them for biking. Got another pair of goretex with a flat sole for that. Was using the Pegasus for walking, but ultimately not really suited to the rough stuff, clambering over rocks n ****. Defo comfy pair of kicks though. If they could have put that Continental sole on those Pegasus, they would have been the ultimate shoe. Appreciate that they were a trail running shoe rather than a hiking shoe though.
I'm still wincing from the picture of your ski boots Chief. Have you ever considered Strolz ? Have had mine 8 years and now and they are the most brilliant ski boots ever. You'd need to go to Otley though to get them fitted at Glide 'n' Side (only UK stockist).
They aren't actually mine! I borrow every year from a mate who has the same size feet as me, and they fit like a glove. Believe it or not! I'd hire otherwise, I think be better to hire a pair that are worn every week, by someone, and are so properly broken in, rather than buy my own and them not be worn often. Will have a look at those though mind.
Just looked into them, pretty sure mate who was with us this year had them. These below, right? (best shot I can get a close up of) He definitely had his own, and fitted.
They could be the old 100 flex ones as I think they were black. Mine are 120 so a firmer flex but the latest models are even better with an easy entry system I'm taking it by broken in you mean...worn by people with slighter larger feet than mine so they don't hurt ?
If someone is wearing them every week, instead of once or twice a year, they become far more maleable. I assume so anyway! Looking at Andorra for next year, where gear is cheap. Can see myself being tempted into buying my own.
Did a session of full body heavy (for me, i'm not pushing Windy figures here) compounds yesterday evening, first visit in over two weeks, what with this and that. Feel a bit broken this morning, quite fancied staying in bed tbf. Good though.
Just reading back on ski gear made my feet ache. Remeber my first pair of boots as a student, cheap and god did they hurt afte ra few hours.
It's just not going to work this like. I'm logged in until 5 and my body is eating itself here. All I have to look fwd to is a mac and cheese huel which looks about half the size of a pot noodle.
Changed saddle on my Turbo trainer bike for what I thought was the same as on road/mountain bike. But it’s flatter(not noticeable)and seems it’s helped inflame sciatic nerve. Had to go 111 Dr as I could barely walk, though it was hamstring but got worse. Hobbled in garage and changed back to old. Hope can get back on later this week once I stretch this out!
