    John Cannon 4/1 - Leopardatown 2.35

Becoming a tad frustrating with his run of seconds and undoubtedly his latest being the most annoying when he was going to take up the lead comfortably before making a terrible mistake at the last hurdle and had no time to recover thereafter. A nice race here, but I think he may well have the measure of most of these and his jumping is usually sound enough to think that today may be his day.

    Wetherby 2.20 Stamina Chope

Best runs in france for leading yard have been on soft and very soft ground so I think todays testing conditions will suit. On a career low mark now so interesting on 2nd run over fences. Small yard and jockey Lee Edwards rare visitors to Wetherby. Could earn some minor money at least at a nice ew price.

    Very quickly

1:00 = Sam Barton - Youngest horse in the race with the best form in my opinion. I am surprised he isn't shorter. He showed much more last time out and Muckamore ran well enough yesterday from that race. I think he is turning the corner and today is his day.

2:10 = Salvatore - Surprised he is even money to be honest. He beat Porlock Bay last time out and this field doesn't have a horse of that calibre in it. Activial the second favourite was beaten by Singlefarmpayments in a race that horse won!

THE LION DANCER 13/2 4:40 Wetherby, running into form. Will go off a lot shorter.

I also like Chti Balko today espescially as he has one of the very best 7lb claimers on board. Took 6's last night but still plenty of 4/1 around.

chti would have been a certainty 18 months ago , but has his mark fallen quicker than his regression ? that’s what your banking on , he has a very good chance today , good luck stick !

Really like Chti Balko too, Stick, had a modest punt at 4/1. Not sure about The Lion Dancer*** off top-weight on heavy going. However, might regret leaving the latter one alone!

Not good enough today. Beaten just over 6 lengths into 4th spot, could never get to them at the business end and perhaps a step up in trip or a much weaker race will see him win.

The Lion Dancer ran really well, jumped beautifully. Will be suited by a stiffer track and not disheartened by today’s performance.
Chti Balko looks shot to pieces and won’t be ruining any more of my yankees.

Willie Mullins warms up for Cheltenham with 4 winners at Leopardstown - from just 4 runners.
