I have been revisiting Rust and Marty since it was mentioned in this thread last week. TV doesn't get any better than this.
Watched The Starling on Netflix - Melissa McCarthy and Chris O'Dowd ... departure from her usual silliness ... good acting performances from the principles ... watchable if rather profound.
so it's like Titanic, you have to start at the last 3rd to enjoy it? Musicals, meh, Grease, Charlie & the Chocolate factory, Paint your wagon, that's about it.
The King's Man Better than I was expecting. Retained the ridiculously OTT fight sequences but tempered them with a far more melancholic and serious story line. 6.5/10
Not really Ern, like saying you only need to watch the end of Usual Suspects. It wouldn't work without watching the whole thing. And don't lie, we all remember your love for The Sound of Music. I'm not a fan of musicals but 3 I'd rate are Blues Brothers, The King and I, and A Star Is Born. All three tremendous films.
