If you look at the fixture list I can see the teams below us, including Everton staying below us. I also see us going above Brentford. Positive thinking required by all.
Facebook - Someone posted a picture of their lad at a petrol station posing with KP. They also said KP confirmed he will be back in two weeks
Bamford will play some part on Thursday and then again on Sunday. Phillips back after the break so the bench will start to look better plus Llorente will be back too so we get to see Ayling back at RB too
One win in thirteen makes positive thinking difficult. On arguments made about the teams below us, why should we suddenly hit ‘title winning form’ and win three of the next four? Unfortunately I see us as the team dropping like a stone, can’t seem to buy a point let alone three.
3 in 11 games isnt great form LoL and I believe we will see improvements in every game. JM only had 4 days and we saw a huge improvement mate. There are games we should win and games we may get a draw in and a couple we may get beaten in, but 9 points from 11 is safety
That’s assuming no one else has that small uptake in form. Can’t remember who posted it but as we stand it’s no longer in our hands.
Not sure Ayling will ever play right back again as he just doesn't seem to have the legs for it anymore. There has to be a reason Marcelo stopped playing him there and now it looks like Jesse thinks the same. It's starting to look like a problem area for us to be honest.
It is still in our hands btw. Alot of the bottom half have to play each other yet so not all teams will win every game.
Well if you think a team could be relegated on 56 points then I guess you're right. It's entirely in our hands even if mathematically it's not.
When the 2nd or even best RB at the club is sat on the bench behind Shackelton and Dallas maybe the player said fk it. He wont pick me for the first team and he wont let me play for the 23s I may as well go! Bielsa got some decisions wrong Im afraid
Also makes me wonder if the Drameh decision was part of the reason they were thinking about replacing Bielsa?
All correct and true but the club could still have said no. Our Director of Football and should have blocked any loans where the player may have been needed for the first team.
Bielsa had full autonomy Jammy in everything football….maybe was the beginning of the end? Refusing midfielders when everyone knew we were short etc
In other new Chelsea fans sang Roman Abramovich name during the minutes silence for the Ukrain before the game, let’s see how much negative press that gets this coming week, good job it wasn’t us
Just a possibility, Drameh asked to leave, Bielsa didn’t like it so said yes and wanted him shipped out and away from the club if he didn’t wish to remain (remember Pontus) others at the club knew he had talent, they knew it was Bielsas last season so do you leave him at the club with a coach who is upset with him and a player extremely unhappy or do you loan him out knowing he might be useful for Mr Incoming
