i can see portsmouth who have been nowhere this season nicking a top 6 spot and our season finishing ****, not renewing without money being spent Dreyfus better tell us that before season ticket renewal. Another ****e team coming here on Tues so you know what will happen there.
I can sort of agree with that assessment Perhaps I'm guilty of looking for the silver lining a little too hard.
I thought we played really well but just couldn't score. We played some great one touch football. Broadhead looked good after a long time out. Stewart should have done better with some of his chances in the first half. They were awful but always seemed to get a block on our shots. Pritchard and Stewart got knocks and Pritch was carried off so will probably miss the next game.
Would be a massive shame, I only had the radio on and they said he had to be carried off by the physio. Hopefully Embo and having Broadhead back means we can clinch a play off place. Big couple of games coming up a home next.
also, when the ball ends up bouncing around, hits a couple of players it always falls to the opposition, we honestly have not had that 'rub of the green' and there is feck all we can do about it, i also think we are now moving into that territory where we tend to be over critical as wins are needed if we are to stand any chance of a pop at promotion with games running out, taken in the context of the last few games that was an improved performance but the fact they had zero shots on target being the home team says a lot.
Pritchard will be a miss if he out, he is better than this league and is probably our best player. Stewart should have scored a couple with the free headers he got, not like him. We dominated and should have won it!
Should be aiming for 13 points from those 5. Only Rotherham should give us a problem. But, strangely; I think we will beat them quite comfortably at home. No idea why
did everything but work the keeper enough, lot of positives & thats 2 games in row we have played well at tempo until final whistle, if we can keep this up plus shoot more/create a little more no reason we cant be in that mix for playoff promotion
