Remember when it was Loftus Road?
I should tell you that if you want a really good and informative read, you should look at the match day thread on the QPR page. It's excellent.

So an interesting fixture in store against a side still playing their football but having inconsistent results of late. I don't think we're going to suffer a repeat of recent humiliations at the hands of the Rs but nevertheless a tough ask to get a win.

Anyway, as I said, better info on their board

Just read that Clingo. Very informative.
Highlight for me was that Colwill and Flint are our top scorers with 5 each! I wonder if Morison has a Mitrovic type player in his sights for next season.

    So is Anfield.... It's a $hitehole.....

Always used to say, Ninian Park, Bob Bank seating was more comfortable and better than the Scouse hovel.

Only been once to see the City. A terrible game on their short lived plastic pitch in early 80’s.
Went to see them once on a trip to London in mid 70’s when they were fighting to win the old first division. Stanley Bowles scored a memorable solo goal.

Went to see City play there for the first time in the mid/late 60s. The era of Marsh, the Morgan Twins etc. Ended 1-1 with Fred Davies clearing the crossbar at the other end with a kick out of his hands. He was keeping at the open stand end and had some wind assistance! Great, tight ground where you could reach out and touch the players. Mark Lazarus allegedly used to have a drag on a fans cigarette. Don't know if it's true but it wouldn't surprise me.
Anyway, went back several times and have a soft spot for the Rs

First choice keeper unfit so Marshie to start for them.

Sad news about his passing today. 74.
Just as sad, Shane Warne, 52.

Remember Rod Marsh with Lillee Thompson Chappell etc.... What a character and old school Aussie cricketer

As for Warne - well he was in a league of his own.

Two Aussie legends passing on one day...:emoticon-0101-sadsm

So how are we feeling about today?
In their faces from the start?
Sit back and let them pass it sideways?
Put Vaulks on to .....well you know?

Not confident but if we attack them from the start you never know. I don't think we should sit back and invite them onto us. They have the players to do some damage as we have seen in recent years.

Perhaps Marshie will throw in a couple for us? :emoticon-0136-giggl

Always good footballing sides from Warburton. QPR will try to play it around us and through us on the floor with pace. We need to be solid behind the ball (no mistakes from McGuinnes please), and ready to push on when we get the ball off them.

I hope we don't sit back and try to absorb them in the hope we'll get something later on in the game. They are beatable at the back when pressed. Not necessarily going gung ho, but taking the chances on by going forward when they arrive without choosing to pass it backwards.

Doughty in for Bagan, Colwill for Davies and Vaulks for Doyle (not on bench).

    Collins nowhere thankfully.

I read we had a fully fit squad so assume Doyle & Harris are injured?

Don't want to be pedantic, but if we had a fully fit squad, how can they be injured?
