I know I take the piss but I do see a tough game. I'm we beat villa but we hung on for 45 mins and Brentford were with 10 men the entire have last week. I'd put max and Bruno in... I still don't rate this 11 as highly as some are.
But what about people who want to support the thousands of poor Russian troops being slaughtered miles away from their homes????
The entire country and all others are doing it mate. It's only people like you and Pouchy that just don't care about it and see it all as a big nuisance to keep hearing about it. I know the type I had the same with a taxi driver the other day. Literally saying he's sick of hearing about it and is more interested in what he's having for tea. I don't care you're your own man,but stop taking an issue with people that want to show their support. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it whatsoever. It's you taking an issue with them not the other way around mate. They're causing you no inconvenience whatsoever.
Jeez, it's getting ridiculous. First it was just armbands, then a minute's silence, then applause, then taking the knee, then flag waving. But spanking? On the pitch? That's just wrong. The world is going crazy.
Nobody is singling out the troops.. They sign up and they get remembered thankfully We have days for our fallen and have a minutes silence.. We have silences at matches for many things thankfully lest we forget
We are on a high, they are on a low. But I do think they’ll be looking to break that run. It’s tough for them though, they are already safe, mentally you go one of two ways - you play with freedom or you lose that fight. We will see but I’m hopeful. I still think we shouldn’t be duped by current form, this squad of players is not great and needs serious upgrades in the summer.

Thankfully the majority of clubs are sending the message. It's actually an interesting thing because we have remembrance day and none of you have complained about that at matches have you? Are we going to stop that because of wars elsewhere aren't being remembered? Soldiers tend to get remembered btw the everyday folk don't.
Yes I do have a problem as I have said many times with that. I don’t see the point of that being at football matches. I think I said on another thread I don’t agree with the treatment of James McClean and his refusal to wear a poppy. It highlights why football, sport in general is best kept separated from all things political. Each to their own though. I prefer to pay my respects at the local war memorial. Just seems more appropriate.

Being tough or not has absolutely nothing to do with it. There's nothing wrong with sport being used to sending positive messages.. It's doing it with racism, homosexuality and other things. It's been doing it for many years The only argument you're presenting is that not everything is getting the same recognition through sport so therefor it isn't a good thing to do... Which is nonsense mate The truth is you don't want the personal inconvenience and just don't don't want nufc to show any support for the people of Ukraine! that doesn't make you braver than me mate.
That certainly is one problem with it. You never asked me to list them. You said there was no possible reason for it not being a good idea. I simply listed one that some people may feel falls in that category. There are many others and it’s not for you to decide if they are right about it. Just disagree and move on. Like I do
