i watched the game via stream in the second half and listened to the first half on 5 live on the drive home from work. Impressions; 1. we seemed to outplay stoke in large part and alan green out this down to stoke playing badly. 2. I saw pepe reina really struggling under the high ball and on crosses. flapping is the issue. 3. spearing wasn;t good but lucas was. 4. carroll's passing is dead poor but god he needs more games and i for one hope he's played a few more in a row to get that time on the pitch to sharpen up. 5. we got a bit lucky, kenny might have talked about that but in the end we flogged another goal, looked a bit shaky when stoke actualy got out of their half and had stoke got their set up right they could have put us on another 0-1... I'm happy we won but don't feel all is well in the camp. we're just not right at the minute and must improve all ove the pitch.
