Everton are in all sorts of bother at the moment. Overpent, relegation battle, Russian money severed, spent? Cannot say I'm unhappy as my encounters with Everton fans over the years has led me to dislike an otherwise neutral club. However, it does raise the specter of who a club gets into bed with. Things can go wrong very quickly via issues beyond the club's control. Anyway, we are all familiar with some Evertonian bitterness to NUFC. Here is a recent post on one of their forums: "Newcastle, a case we are all familiar with.. They are blocked from purchasing a club in the UK because their owner, as evidence suggests, personally ordered the murder of an innocent journalist who had the temerity to call out the regime. Kashoggi was murdered by forced overdose, his body cut up into a number of pieces and then dissolved in barrels of acid, which they then poured down the drain. The person who ordered that owns a club in the UK. That purchase was sanctioned by the UK govt. and days later there was an announcement of Saudi investment of several billion in the North East. Coincidence? I think not. The UK govt are actively seeking Saudi investment in eth UK to allow them to meet their 'levelling up agenda'." My innocent question is this: what 'announcement of Saudi investment of several billion in the North East' is he referring to? Any idea?
I don't see why we'd choose to dislike Everton. I don't like their ground, but have nothing against them. I'd rather see Burnley go down due to their puke football style of play.
9 out of 10 Everton fans tend to be horrible in all honesty. Plastics or not, the reds are a far nicer bunch. Just facts. There's two Everton fans on here ffs, TWO, one of them is alright and the other one is a massive snake ****. I don't really care what happens to their club, i think the Mersey would have looked a lot nicer with their new stadium - but seeing them wallow in the Championship for a season would be a thing of absolute beauty.
When you've been spat in the face twice on your life and both times while walking outside Goodison Park, it does colour your perception of a club's fans somewhat. I've visited their ground twice in my life and my crime was wearing a black and white scarf. I've never had trouble with Liverpool fans - and there are a lot more of them - or any others for that matter.
I had something similar when we drew against man utd 1-1 once. Dumbasses looking to pick fights for no reason.
Everyone wondering which is which now. We could have a poll... Twice, on two separate occassions, my daughter when with me going to Goodison Park has had a group of about 5 or 6 Everton fans doing the knife cutting throat finger gesture to her by 2 or 3 of each group. TBF I burst out laughing on both occassions as the groups were essentially 8 or 9 year olds and my daughter was whilst small and petite still aged in her early 20's.
Everton fans hate Newcastle fans they voted us their second most hated club.. I was surprised tbh but since then I've noticed there's loads of them that just don't like nufc. Maybe it's just become a two way thing over the years..
They have zero point ZERO chance of ever winning anything EVER again. So let's just wallow in the chaos that Agent Rafa has caused.!! ****ing Bliss.!!!
It's a massive chip on their shoulders. They sit in the shadow of Liverpool knowing they face the impossible task of attracting fans from inside and outside their own city from outside the usual family loyalties etc. They feel they get starved of media attention and hate the amount we get regardless of weather its good attention or bad attention from the press. Think Mackems but with an even ****ter accent and an even bigger **** trait of playing the ****ing victim all the time.
It's odd that the 3 clubs which have, along with us, possibly the greatest ancient history (ie.pre WW1) are our greatest adversaries today - Sunderland, Aston Villa and Everton. It's a rivalry set in a vintage, sepia tone.
What this means, which is bound to create a Religious ceremony of pitty is there new stadium has just floated down the Mersey, their ridiculous related party sponsorship deals have been ripped up and even if this all ended tomorrow they will be subject to PL approval. Karma's a bitch
