Lol, Liz Truss is a ****in spanner. She probs read out her hit list to interested parties at the last Tory party donation dinner
The idea that their financial input as owners is anywhere near the level it was before FFP is pure bollocks.
Nothing to see here lads, Roman is the salt of the earth type of guy. Remind me how did he come about his money again?
They spent €150million on transfers this season during a major pandemic where everyone had income lowered. That suggests if theyve slowed at all, it isnt much. I'm sure FFP inconveniences them some, and there are some increased costs to skirting the rules but it hardly makes a dent in the overall net effect. I don't like policies that encourage people to cheat or laws that encourage people to be criminals... Both make things less honest and transparent long term.
Their P&L figures for the last 5 years were posted earlier in this thread, I cba digging it out and explaining it yet again, but one windows spend means little. Every rule ever made in society sees people looking for ‘work rounds’, FFP doesn’t encourage criminality either. Without any form of FFP you’d have a free for all amongst clubs owned by people who creating a sustainable football club wasn’t on their agenda, your club would be left in their wake.
No, he's too busy crying that Manchester United employing Matt Busby and creating the Busby babes gave them an unfair advantage over everyone.
Don't mention us borrowing a few rag tag and bobtail players after the Munich Air crash for **** sake, he'll be trying to get anything we did after cancelled. #notfair
Its cause we sold a load of players. Our net spend in the past 5 years is one of the lowest in the league i think. (I know its lower then arse, spurs, united and city)
Ok... Well they spent 172 million and 160 million in the seasons before this one. They consistently spend in that range every year.
Hes a friend of the Israelis and a friend of the chinese and also boris mate. Thats good enough for me. Also terry says hes the best so must be true
They had a negative net spend this season, spent £170m the previous year but had a £101m negative spend the year before. If you’re going to get into numbers at least use the right ones.
Yeah but as we're being blamed for everything right now were a bit paranoid. **** it, we started the war in Ukraine don't you know?
...and there's that over the head thing once again ... and of course the usual arrogant yet daft assumptions ..that you think me getting a string of bites from the United posters signifies ME being the one wound up is very funny ... stick to the turnip auctions mate ... you are so out of your depth I'm surprised you go surfing without a rubber ring
