Maybe he did all of that (messing up I mean), but considering he later also said "Iranians" instead of "Ukrainians"....
Let me hold my peace on all that.....

People jerk off over our sanctions but they mean nothing. Russia isn't stupid. This is a calculated move.

They know that eventually we'll want their business again, and we'll just have to accept the loss of Ukraine independence.

Unless we want ww3. Saving Ukraine isn't worth it.

The only alternative is if literally the entire world declares war on Russia and makes it so they are doomed if they do anything else. Sure, they could nuke their enemies, but the entire world would obliterate them completely.

I think the main reason we don't just obliterate them is recognising that they are too valuable in terms of their resources. They're a super power.

They want what they want, and unfortunately trying to stop them would be too costly.

It would be interesting, however, if China joined our side.

He isn't going to stop after Ukraine that's the key point! It's ww3 there's no way he's going to just stop and eventually he'll have USSR back in business. He'll use nukes then if necessary

He's after toppling the scales of world power.

He added that Russians and Ukrainians were "one people" and said he would "destroy this 'anti-Russia' created by the West".

Ukraine aren't in Nato, neither are Belarus.

Even if oversteps that line and invades an Nato country, it's WW3.

The entire world will be against him.

He's not interested in anything other than rebuilding the USSR because, he's sick and tired of America and Britain taking the piss out of his country.

He knows if he rebuilds the USSR they can't take the piss anymore.

America only helped us in ww2 when they realised they'd be next of they didn't.

Nobody is going to help Ukraine or the next country, but once Putin holds enough cards they'll either give him what he wants or its ww3.

You've been against getting in anyway involved, even in thought from the beginning though. So your pussy hands have revealed their play.

Sanctions are hitting the Russian economy, they've passed laws literally this week in an attempt to offshoot the affects these santions are having. It's hitting average Russians the hardest.

Russians are dying, they're losing equipment, every single thing that is Russian owned that gets bombed or damaged costs MILLIONS to replace. Citizens from every wealth grade are taking hits because of this, it's all going according to plan.

Anyone who has your opinions is a weakling and a bully victim, simple as.

That's what the big wigs are saying and it makes sense.

Was reported months ago and backed up by Biden.

We're not talking about a bully on a playground that can knock you out. We're talking about someone with an nuclear arsenal to destroy this planet and kill billions of people.

It's not about being cowardly. If we stay out of Ukraine, then thousands more people may day, but if we get involved in an aggressive way, it may the situation to get far worse.

Saying the Putin is just a bully is stupid. He's one of the most powerful people on the planet.

If pissing him off too much means launches nukes, then that's more than just ****ing bullying.

At the end of the day it's a pointless debate on our side. It will be dealt with by those in power who will make far more informed decisions than us.

This situation needs to be dealt with carefully. And I don't think "just get the **** in there and **** em up or are you too pussy" is a stupid way of looking at it.

Hopefully there'll be negotiations soon enough.

I also think it's important to recognise that all the blame may not just be with russia.

You've got a point and that was my position and is the position of the rest of the worlds governments , but they know he's after the USSR and they're hoping sanctions work.

If sanctions work great, but if they don't he'll keep going until he's got the old soviet Union up and running and then things will get interesting.

No one said just go in there though, everyone argues that we should just keep on the current course. it's clearly working, anyone who says otherwise is a coward, simple as.

We can't just allow the nonce to do as he pleases, billions of people aren't about to ****ing die because of it. That rhetoric is exactly what he wants to be honest, it's why he did a nothing move but leaked to the press his nukes are now in a level of alert that means absolutely nothing to anyone on this entire planet except for a few blokes in an office.

It worked hook line and sinker, distracted everyone away from the fact bus drivers are beating his army of 19 year old conscripts.

I think Russia are closing in tbh. They've just captured a key city and the Ukrainian president is asking for for talks and handing out guns to bus drivers in the 1st place.

There's no chance Ukraine have of winning

Russia are just the last European country left who haven't realised their place is firmly behind the US and China.

They are desperate for a time that no longer exists, in truth, they were a poor and useless nation for the last 10 years of the Soviet Union. They conveniently ignore this now for their narratives.

It's like us invading Ireland and pining for the glory days of the Thatcher years.

Winning is just holding them off for as long as possible tbh and using guerrilla tactics.

There's absolutely no way that anyone in Ukraine or NATO expect that after 8 days most of Ukraine would be holding on like it is, I did not expect Russian casualties to be so high personally. So many of them died so fast.

Russia are actually out gunned technology wise, Western weapons are far better. There's no way Russian tech alone can keep up with American, German, British and French technological achievements. The issue will be sheer numbers of Russian soldiers, jeeps, helicopters from the 90s and such, they will be able to keep pushing despite losses and that will add up.

But I expect separatist fighting for a long time tbh, Russians will die, a lot of them.
