Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich could be open to selling the club, with bids expected to arrive this week. (Telegraph)
If Abramovich pulls out and calls in his £1.9B loan the Pozzo's might in interested in buying it as a feeder club for Watford
If the price falls enough, I think we can pull it off. Who do we want as manager? Do we want to hire someone good to lead our new investment to glory, or do we want to cause as much chaos as possible? I nominate Balotelli as manager once we buy the club. He seems to have the right maturity and it will piss off the racist element of the fans.
On Wednesday, during Prime Minister's Questions, Labour leader Keir Starmer asked why Abramovich was not facing sanctions, with Boris Johnson replying it was "not appropriate to comment on any individual cases at this stage". Wyss also said: "Abramovich is trying to sell all of his villas in England, he also wants to get rid of Chelsea quickly. "I and three other people received an offer on Tuesday to buy Chelsea from Abramovich." A spokesperson for Abramovich declined to comment on those claims.
No more free money from bank of roman, take a few years to truly plummet I reckon, few stars on big wages will go, then they'll cash in on the 79 loanees they have plastered all over Europe, then we will see if they can function as a normal club instead of some doped up Russian plaything. Cant fukin wait
Chavs literally went from a two bit yoyo club with massive debt, facing administration, selling all of their players and looking at going back to their usual place hovering between the top flight and Div 2 until Roman came along The Russian crook was looking for a plaything (he was going to buy the Spuds initially) and pumped his vast ill gotten wealth in the Chavs instead. I remember those first few years after he took over, they literally threw cash about like throwing mud at the wall to see what stuck. They bought up all of the best players to try and prevent their rivals from getting them, and then loaned them out coz their squad was too bloated FFP was invented because Chelsea ****ed the whole system up in their favour. Wenger was right when he said it was 'half cheating' because they were able to buy their titles. All of their titles since Roman came along mean **** imo. They were bought. Their success is arbitrary, it could just as easily been the Spuds or another club.
Glad you said that and not me mate, nuff peeps get upset when I say that **** about the chavs Absolutely bought everything they've won since roman came. Boyband fc RIP
Dun matter who says it tbh. It's obvious how they 'acquired' their success. Artificially pumped full of economic steroids in order to buy some trophies. Chav fans cry some BS about everybody else being jealous of their success, but they know it too even if they'll never admit it
My theory was clearly right then, that there was no way Chelsea could operate once Roman had sanctions placed on him, and the Charity stunt was ill advised by his lawyers I suspect. To really rub salt into the wounds, I'd ask, how can you sell a club built on laundered money and the fans better pray the sale goes through before the sanctions are applied, otherwise that could be another game changer.
The government needs to shift it's arse mate, because if they apply sanctions now, he cannot sell anything, even if it's going to charity, and he fooking knows that. Don't be fooled by this statement mate, Chelsea should be wound up, simples.
