Just a reminder that we were still in all three cups when Conte took over and we dribbled out of them all.
For a man that bangs on about winning things and having that mentality, he sure hasn't brought it.

That's the way to do it. This team are so up and down Conte will end up needing counselling.

Meh, journeyman championship players have the game of their lives and to many of our players aren’t on it. Our turn to be the giant killing this round.

We’d have only lost to Chelsea at some point anyway.

A lot of bullshit refereeing, forwards who can’t score, and a keeper who has some tidy saves in his locker. Fair play to Boro. Absolutely fuming though, that game should have been buried.

I get the nasty feeling Conte was resigned to penalties as that's the only logical reason for keeping Son on the pitch, when it was obvious he was having an off day

Unless Conte forgot he was on the pitch, which is fair because most people watching would have in the second half

No I still sat in front of screen which sometimes showed me a game with a team in white that sometimes plays football.

I agree with the sentiment but they had more clear cut chances than we did so it’s not like we were unlucky

White - and Devine - gotta be wondering what they’ve gotta do when Winks and Hojbjerg play like that for 120 minutes.

We even blocked a loan for White… just makes no bloody sense.

Oh yeah I’m not trying to say they didn’t create enough to win. I do think that our forwards are out of form or inconsistent and Kane nearly had his shirt pulled off in the box and didn’t get a pen. Boro did enough to deserve this win though.

One day they look absolute world beaters the next they look bang average. Conte must be tearing his hair out (although he probably won’t as it would be quite expensive to replace again)

I'm not seeing the world beating performances, to be honest.
We played well against City, but it was mainly defending and then nicking the odd chance.
Good mentality to go on and win it at the death, though.
Leeds have been awful for months and still created tons against us, despite losing badly.

Very difficult for me to care about this club

    I can’t be arsed when I don’t see blood sweat n tears

and for all the plaudits Kane gets…he still can’t pull us out of it…ever.

    useless set a ****s

I’ll be damned if I give a **** about the bog standard league campaign

**** off…ambitions done for the season and so is my support.

will see what the summer brings

    until then

    **** off Tottenham

I've been saying to some friends for a little while now that he deserves more criticism than he's been getting. I feel like a lot of Spurs fans have given him a 'free pass' because a lot of these players he plays have preceded him, and weren't performing optimally beforehand anyway. But the fact is, he's made some big mistakes along the way and refuses to acknowledge his own performance in his interviews. He frequently seems to blame everyone else other than himself.

He's obviously a very good coach, but he's certainly not infallible and tonight's result is more evidence of that.

I mean kane and son really not the whole team. Thinking Man City and leeds and then the contrasting performances against Burnley and Middlesbrough. It’s clear that when teams set up to stop us playing we aren’t good enough to break them down.

We're not creating anything for them though, unless they do it for each other.
Son was ****ing awful tonight, don't get me wrong, but it's not like they're getting plenty of chances.
