He should have just enjoyed retirement. Why does he do it? Is he that greedy. Is there a possibility he could manager every club in the football league/?
1 point out of a possible 15 for Bruce now and 1 goal in his first 5 games. He's nicely taken them from chasing automatic promotion to the bottom half of the table in just a few weeks.
From SSN: "Steve Bruce's side have now failed to score in each of their last three Championship games at The Hawthorns for the first time since November 2003 under Gary Megson."
I think he does. And then once a week he pops to the Midlands to watch a game of football, do a press statement and collect his cheque.
Was watching Luton-West Brom, from last week, this morning as it happened to be on while I was having Brekky. They lost 2-0. The commentator came out with a couple of quotes: 1. Steve Bruce said in his pre-match interview that Luton was a very difficult place to come and get points 2. When a sub came on for Luton, commentator said he used to play under Bruce at a previous team. The pundit responded: Its probably easier to name the players who haven't played under Bruce at some stage.
Hopefully leicester will win, but part of me hopes for a draw so we can catch leicester. I'm trying to keep my priorities in line with survival but it's difficult not to become ambitious.
It’s bad isn’t it though. I mean it’s great for us. But that point could be massive. Im going for a Burnley win tonight. Leicester look turd atm.
Do we want Palace to win in the Cup tonight with the knock on of cancelling our game on the 20th? One advantage is playing on the 17th and then no game till 3rd of April, give everyone a rest and recovery for those to come back but the rescheduling could be a problem.
Was one I had pencilled in as a win but a 2 and a half week break could be a godsend for the run in, hmmm
