The EU Parliament have voted to accept the application, but they don't really make any decisions. It now needs to go through the rest of the bureaucratic process, but I reckon it'll be a formality, even though I doubt they actually meet any of the criteria.

I wonder if Wee Jimmy's getting any ideas? She might try to claim the subs at Fasslane are an invasion force.
