I don't like them. I got into football in the mid 90s, so all I ever knew of them was them moaning that they used to be good. Bit like Man U now. Its not a jealousy thing. I know people older than me that are "Liverpool fans".... from Pennywell because they were good when they were growing up. Grown arsed blokes walking around in Liverpool shirts. Man U were the dogs bollocks and sunderland were ****e when I got into football ball, but my team were and are Red and White, I didn't run off and support Man U. Odd situation all that.

I agree with the form but there's always an exception ...

... just as there was at Wigan, on Saturday.

Watched it and iirc the Never Walk Alone song I only heard twice and one was after the match.
Likes been said the media are so far up the arse of LFC it's embarrassing. I detest their ****ty club and their awful needy fans, it's all about them.
I did hope Klopp would fail but fair play to him at least he's entertaining on the touchline.
The longer were out of the top league the more meh I am about getting back, it's more important to play well in the league your in and were making a right mess of getting out of this league but could handle a few seasons going close in the Championship.
I know that all sounds a bit counter productive but it's just how I see things at this current time.

Me and Mrs Smug were on our way to Whitby for the Goth weekend just for a laugh. We stopped off for lunch in the NY moors at a lovely old pub.

The TV came on and the build up to a Liverpool game was on in the background, no problem for me. Then in came a stream of pasty faced middle aged men in Liverpool shirts.

I thought there must be a minibus outside, or a holiday place nearby, but they were all locals with broad Yorkshire accents spouting about 'Stevie G' and 'our Jordan' .

It made me feel sick and we left, horrible what football's become.

Something like that happened to me just after I moved down to Hartlepool after I got married. The wife and I decided to go to the bars on the marina on a Sunday afternoon and it just happened to be Man UTD v Liverpool playing that day. We called into 1 bar who had the game on and I was just interested in the score rather than watching the match but when we went in, it was full of bloomed wearing either Man Utd or Liverpool shirts!!! Could not ****ing believe it and they have a team on their doorstep!

I honestly couldn't care less about being Cannon fodder for the "big boys" anymore. They say it's a random for the fixtures, is it ****e, the lesser teams constantly have runs where we play 5 out of the top 6 off the belt.It wasn't uncommon for us to plat Man U, City, Chelsea in a row. "They" never have runs like that, it's always City V Norwich,Bournemouth then a "big" club, followed by 2 easy games for maximum punishment. They can keep it. It's a rich man leauge now, well... it always was but its getting worse.

Managers of that era need to realise its probably over. You can't play the game the way they want to anymore. It's a younger man's game now. Mark Hughes going to Bradford is a clear sign of that. They have all made a lot of money out of failure and having mates in the media. There are 3 managers in the EFL that are 36 years old.
