The Final Cut. Very much an anti-war album about how mad war mongers get ordinary soldiers killed. A lot of Floyd fans didn't like it because it was quite different to their earlier stuff. Probably their least well known album, but I think it's a work of art!

I know it's a cover, I was cutting it down to the solo, it's the only bit I'm interested in for my guitar stuff. I do mashing of riffs and that will fit in with what I'm doing currently, funnily enough got another Floyd song already in it, shine on you crazy diamond, will just need to look sometime where I can mash it in.

 

Have to be honest and say between Medal and The Wall i have missed everything, marriage can really **** you up

There is absolutely no evidence that any Russian soldiers want to be there, even the guys in the tank who had run out of fuel laughed when someone offered to tow them back to Moscow.
The only deaths being caused are by long range missiles or bombing (like a video game), troops on the ground really don't want to engage or be nasty/violent.


EDIT.......only going off vids i have seen on the net but the Russian troops are treating this like it's still some sort of exercise.

 

It looks like Russia are applying real pressure now. They could be in Kiev within 24 hours.

Just been watching the families being torn apart at train stations, fathers in tears having to send their wives and kids away as they go back to face what's looking like it's going to be a huge massacre. Kids bawling their eyes out not knowing if they will see their Dads again
