Marche has been studying Leeds for a long while, and has attended a Bielsa coaching lecture. He also commented on youtube recently how Bielsa presses brilliantly but he says you can stop the video at anytime and see the same players marking man for man all match. He says he finds it easier on the players to do the press but overload 5-3 when defending leaving a couple on the other side waiting for the ball to be retrieved and switched at speed then really fast attacks to take the opposition by storm before they realise…. He plays fast press and fast attacking hut not as much energy used as man for man? He also devised the developmentof Alfies lad Haaland and Patson Dakka. Afternoon all. I'm still gutted that we've lost MB but I'm not surprised. There's no sentiment in business and the investors can see their money cut in half if we go down. I read that MB was leaving in May anyway and the 49ers wanted Marsch, and a couple of signings, last Summer. What is most surprising to me is that we're bringing in a coach who knows nothing about the PL and nothing about fighting against relegation. If we had a strong, underperforming squad then maybe he could inspire them but we don't. We have a very ordinary squad that was led by a very good manager. I think a big part of our problem is the feeling within the squad. Getting hammered every time you go out takes it's toll. I just hope he can make a difference because we could need more than 12 points from our last 12 games. I'm worried
