Only one klopp has not won. King Kenny has all 3 domestic trophies and is only lfc manager to have done it. If klopp could win that as well this season it'd be amazing. He would then be the only manager we have to have won 6 of the 7 trophies possible and he reached the final of that. Norwich have Brentford on the weekend and we have West Ham. Both probably focussed on those games, but we should hopefully have enough for them in Wednesday.
Of course they will give it their all, but it'll be the second string playing. He'll not complete the set because we'll not compete in the Europa League or Conference Cup thing (still don't even know what this is).
we have already secured CL for next season. The best arsenal are doing in their final 14 games is about 25 points. that means 70. theres no ****ing way west sham are getting that and man utd will be lucky to get near it. We need 4 wins from 12 games to be at worst 4th and frankly 2nd is far more likley even with the most average end to season. the FA cup will be second string. theres 3 games til the final. Norwich , QF, SF. who knows what the teams will be or the results but we will give it a much better go as the squad is reasonable. The CL is the big one where we need a bit of luck with the next draw after hopefully controlling the next game away and cruising into QF. The league is 12 finals. of course west sham is the bigger game this week now. But... Kelleher Bradley Gomez Konate Tsimikas Jones Milner Kieta Ox Origi Minamino Its not "horrendeous" to play that and launch diaz, salah, fabinho, VVD and mane on after 60mins. I think we have a chance at least and frankly dean smith isn't going to say much bar go give your best shot at this. If we score first then they might well fold.
Never the second string was horrendous, just that it'll be them playing. I'd happily take an FA Cup so long as it didn't affect our run in for the PL and CL
Our single biggest challenge in the next 2 weeks is west sham IMO. we have a full on set of fixtures now and our good work in CL hopefully means we can control through that. Arsenal will be tricky but not horrid and brighton likely harder than them. If we beat norwich then the man utd game will be PP'd March will decide much imo. these squad players will need the games to get a bit sharper and IMO if they can manage a cup run it should get them more ready to contribute in the league and CL. I see it as win win personally as long as the draw is not horrid.
