Championship Rando Watch London World claim we have scouts watching Bristol City CM Alex Scott, with Peter Braund seen at both Ashton Gate and England U19 games to keep tabs on him I think that guarantees they win their last 14 matches and get promoted, ruling out any chance of signing him this summer...
Everybody's scouting Scott at the moment. He'll get a move in the summer, regardless of how Bristol's season finishes.
What happens to the couple of billion that they owe Abramovich? Does it get frozen? No idea how that works, honestly.
I'm guessing Putin shows up, orders Stamford Bridge to be destroyed, and uses it as materials for an aircraft carrier
Yet it was 'Saltypool', who brought Origi on from the bench to tear us a new one in the CL final. Origi!?! How many games does he actually play. Yet when called on, he's there. How you can adopt this view after the way that the CL final was squandered due to Poch choosing to play an out of form Kane is beyond me. Especially when we got done by their super-sub. To each his own I suppose. I just don't get it.
So a game from the best part of three years ago proves that Saltypool actually use strikers, as opposed to various games of the past month where they play three wingers up top while Firmino a d Origi sit on the bench? Also, just a reminder, we had Llorente on the bench for that match, so pretending we had Kane and only Kane is flat out wrong - but apparently we needed four strikers for a system which only uses one...
Pretending what?!? Er…No! No pretence. I am saying that we had only one striker that Poch wanted to start. It was his error. Fixed on Kane. Meanwhile Pool had Firminho and switched in Origi, whom Klopp trusted. Personally I would have let Lucas and Llorente start. Get options you trust and use the options. Why is this complicated? I am not saying we need four strikers. I'm saying that we need more than Kane and Son. Right now Kane's cover is….. Son?!? Are you asking Conte, who's system is very much about strikers, hence Lukaku etc., to play like Pep or Klopp? When the man has won an entire league with his own tried and tested system? Why? (The only way this make sense is if you think these teams win because they don't use strikers. I personally think they win because they have a system and, whatever they use, they have many options of high quality in their squad so they can be consistent. This is what Conte is trying to achieve. The same way that we can't succeed if every time Skipp doesn't play the midfield goes to s^*&T, is how we can't win things if, when Kane and Son are out, the attack goes to s(*&t!@!)
We had Llorente on the bench In a game that was almost three years ago Which has no bearing on how neither Saltypool nor The Sheikh Mansour Team do not line up with a striker in the 2021-2 season And clearly doesn't justify the idiotic idea of having Kane, Dybala and Martinez in a system that uses one striker Or explain where Son plays to accommodate the lot of them
OK. I think you're deliberately trying to avoid getting my point. After this I'll leave you to it. Liverpool won because they had, and used, options. It being three years ago, or ten, or one is not the issue. How Man City or Liverpool line up is also not the issue. (The fact that Pep wants Kane renders your entire point moot.) In that match that I am referencing….. We lost, in my opinion, because we didn't use our options. (plus we had Sissoko and Winks as arguable the best midfield pair option, which is a whole entirely different, tragic, yet painfully related, story.) Now we don't even have options. Tell me If Son and Kane get injured tomorrow, WTF happens?!? Who plays where? [Hold on….. I just had a thought. A brainwave even….. Humanbeingincroydon? are you….. ...wait a minute…..! You're Daniel Levy himself aren't you? Ha! In disguise. lol If it is you, please, just get a damn striker! …. Are you Daniel, are you Daniel, are you Daniel in disguise?]
It's not going to happen, but I doubt Conte would have an issue with having all three of them. You could easily play two in one of his preferred systems and all three could still work.
No, what's happening is you're bringing up something from over a week ago and still missing the point The point which is that our system uses one striker, so having three is not only madness but conveniently ignores the fact that Son exists, and I can point to examples at various clubs where having multiple strikers expecting to start has been an abject failure - and the fact that people are citing Saltypool and The Sheikh Mansour Team as examples of teams who do this in spite neither of them playing with a recognised striker further demonstrates how much the point has been missed, which is why you're bringing up a game from three years ago as "evidence" when all it proves is a team that uses one striker in their system has one striker on the bench - NOT TWO
So our striker on the bench is who? Firminho and Origi play which position? and the question I asked earlier that you still didn't answer…. Tell me If Son and Kane get injured tomorrow, WTF happens?!? Son can't be on the wing and on the bench at the same time. Daniel, please, just get a striker mate.
i'm not sure dybala is a strker in the sense that firmino isn't a striker and can play anywhere along the front 3 so the argument of getting martinez and dybala (never going to happen, levy won't shell out that much) isn't out there at all. If anything, a front 4 of kane, son, dybala and martinez is exactly the sort of depth you would like to be challenging the league.
Exactly this, plus the assumption is that nobody is leaving in the summer. I just don't understand the anxiety about bringing in quality players. Weird. Unless, of course, you're Daniel Levy.
So which season are you using? 2018-19 or 2021-22? As you can't have both, as one of those we had Llorente on the bench remember? Firmino and Origi don't start games due to Saltypool lining up with three wingers up front Kulusevski has played as a striker in the past, Bergwijn's fileld in up front for us in the last eighteen months, as we have Dane Scarlett in reserve - in other words, the cupboard isn;t bare and certainly not begging for us to sign two strikers expecting to start games Of course Son can't be on the bench and the wing at the same time, which is why I've asked whether Son would play LWB if we're trying to cram Kane, Dybala and Martinez into the team at the same time, because the other option is shove him on the bench Seriously, people need to learn the difference between FIFA and reality...
