It's weird how the fountainhead coaches are having stuttering seasons, with Bielsa running out of ideas at Leeds while Rangnick is flattering to deceive at Man Utd
Leeds have had some significant injuries to key players and they don't have enough squad depth. Liam Cooper, Kalvin Philips and Patrick Bamford is the spine of their team, basically. They can't handle Bielsaball without them and he's unwilling or unable to adapt.
If Leeds go down Phillips and Bamford will be on a lot of clubs shopping lists - and both would be welcomed at Spurs in my opinion though I doubt that Conte and Paratici would agree as they already play in England.
Phillips might well be on our shopping list as a Skipp/Phillips pivot does sound like the sort of pairing Conte would use as that's the right combination of passing, defensive nous and high energy that can hold the fort and also get the ball out to the channels quickly and effectively If the worst were to happen to Leeds, one thing in their favour is there's a good chunk of their spine who will likely stay as they'd be deemed "undesirable" by Premier League clubs, for example Stuart Dallas and Liam Cooper are both reliable CBs - but as both have passed their 30th birthday they'd likely get overlooked
Extended highlights: Sounds a little silly after a 4-0, but there's still a lot to work on there. Watch Hojbjerg's reaction after Davies' block, though. Hilarious!
