    Thought I'd create a thread for anyone placing bets on any matches.

    Just post up what you bet and which bookies gave you what odds, if you this sort of thing interesting.

    (sorry if it's been done)

    I'll kick off:

    Blackburn v Newcastle - Carling Cup

    Newcastle 2-1 @22/1 >>> £2

    Newcatle 3-1 @18/1 >>> £3

    Both on SkyBet

    Man City are 12/1 to score 5+ goals v Wolves. Tempted. Very tempted. Although they'll probably be on an anti-climax and scrape a 1-0.

    Had £5 on us to be winning 2-1 at HT tonight @ 22/1. Both SkyBet.

    There are a few of these threads, they die pretty quick and get replaced most weekends but this'll do me for tonight <ok>

    Nice. Yeah I nearly went a £5, but decided to shhare it between the two in the end.

    I usually only have a bet on the weekends, a fiver every Saturday. Feeling positive about this one tonight though (kiss of death).

    Was gutted v Wolves a few weeks back. Had £10 on us to win 3-1 at at close to 30/1 - thought Ba was going to get our third near the end in the stand we were in and it screwed wide. So close! Story of most of my bets.

    Overall on my bets (I keep a spreadsheet) I'm now £65 up! :) - Lets hope tonigh brings me a bit more! lol

    jesus - have a look at the betfair graph on the mags tonight - they've smashed into Newcastle (when the strong team news cam out) - went from 2.7 to 2.38! now they have layed us all the way out to 2.7! wierd - i hope the layers pushing our price out haven't got a feckin clue what ther are doing! <devil>

    makes you wonder if half the newcastle team has got injured in the warm up!

    Some risky ones, but 2 quid gives a return of just over 400 quid.

    I know, mental ain't it <laugh> No idea why I put it on to be honest <laugh>

    I think Chelsea are the ones most likely to **** me over there to be honest, more so than Stoke. Got a feeling Everton will win

    Fingers crossed that they won't! Although you're right , if there's one team that could **** you over , it would have to be Chelsea.
