This thread title needs changing to "When will the Ralph doubter's admit they were wrong?" with poll choices of "Now", "2023" or "Never". :)

I'm sure some of the out votes aren't sincere.

I like how out has actually gained a vote rather than lose any <laugh>

Can this please be a teachable moment for when we sell Salisu and Tino and are working on reinvesting? Patience is deserved and has been earned by the current leadership.

I admitted I was wrong ages ago! I’m just not changing my vote because once you have made a choice you have to live with it. Also when Ralph retires at the end of his contract I’ll claim I was right all along

I did assume this was the case with some. Integrity to keep their decision on display for the record

Definitely out. He's not a proper saints manager.. how's he supposed to get the team motivated for a bottom of the table relegation survival when we're swanning about in the top half taking points off the top 6 and playing lovely football. I mean selling our best players (well in the eyes of the media anyway...) bringing in young promising players and coaching them to be better players. Changing formation and tactics to react to what the opposition are doing. Just not on. Where's the backs to the wall hoofball gone. Where's the punch ups in the training ground, hitting on players wives, clueless and boring management and panic buying of players. Just not good enough for a saints manager..! It's just not right going into games with a sense of confidence and knowing the team are good enough to turn results around.. RALPH OUT..

To be fair it wasn’t so long ago that people on here said Ralph didn’t have a plan B and he didn’t change up, especially in the second half when teams had our number. This is no longer the case.

I’m obviously glad we stuck with Ralph but let’s not re-write history. We did have an awful run and it wasn’t obvious things would improve.

Yeah it was pretty much December where he learnt / gained the confidence to actually alter the formation depending on the opponents. When forced by a cramped covid risked schedule that meant his plan A every match was impossible

I’d certainly be interested to see when he next changes from the 4-2-2-2. Alway to Villa seems like it might be needed but I don’t see it

Fittingly this thread was started just a few weeks before that change in approach that has yielded many positive results

I think a good proportion of the 90.6% that voted stay thought things would improve, myself included. I shouldn't say I told you so but I did.
