Just on talksport breaking news, could be bull but son in law just phoned to say it's legit.....lawyers supposed to be finalising details...marsch to take over?
Marcelo Bielsa has left his role as Leeds United manager by mutual consent, talkSPORT understands. A series of poor results have left the club in 16th in the Premier League table conceding 60 goals after 26 games so far, the most in the division. https://talksport.com/football/1052204/marcelo-bielsa-leeds-united-jesse-marsch/
Just move on like the club should have done in the summer. Should have said thank you for a job well done. Orta should follow him as he is shyte.
Sad day. marsch is highly thought of in the game, despite not having a cv that backs that up. reoutation for high pressing high tempo and having a stubborn streak. Sound familiar? hey ho… he should help the 49ers develop our brand in the states and help cut the deal for Aaronson in the summer… if we’re in the premier league.
I really hoped he could turn it around, he gave us a great 3 years. Terrible it ended this way but there was little option in the end.
Marsch was sacked after a spell of poor form from Leipzig let's hope he's got that out of his system we need the hopeful new man bounce.... he's in for a baptism of fire and some
Done a little research on Jesse Marsch and how he plays. He likes a 4-2-2-2 system which focuses on an aggressive press high up the pitch. Two strikers, two 10's and two defensive midfielders. Very similar to Bielsa it seems but he likes to keep his players more central. He likes to press the ball in numbers rather than the 1 v 1 press. Looks like a reasonably easy transition and should give us strength in numbers through the middle. It's not as possession based either. Games shouldn't be as open. Interesting.
I don't know for certain, just what I think, his history ain't great, he plays the Rangnick system which is flawed. Only time will tell
So likes to play with two strikers - we have none. Likes to play more central with no wingers - we have loads. What a strange appointment - we’re ****ed.
Yep. It is a worry but Man Utd don't have players fit enough to press. We are used to it. Look @Gessa we've just parted company with my favourite Leeds coach since Wilko. I'm trying to be positive.
I suppose those wanting to see Gelhardt or Rodrigo up top with Rapha at 10 get their wish. I dunno mate. I'm just hoping it all works out.
