You're right lets just sit here and watch Putin run over Europe.

    Not our problem.

There won’t be a Europe if NATO troops set foot in Ukraine.

I’m not a world leader so what difference would it make what I’d do? NATO countries have already done or are planning to do everything they can i.e. sending weapons to Ukraine and sanctions against Russia. The only thing NATO won’t do is put boots on the ground because the risk of a nuclear confrontation with Russia is too high.

What did NATO do when Israel bombed Gaza? **** all. What is NATO doing to help Yemen whilst their people starve due Saudi bombs and blockades? **** all. Actually, no, they armed the aggressors in those conflicts, so their moral posturing is pointless.

Again, the sooner people realise the real world isn’t a Marvel movie where the good guys defeat the bad guys and save the day, the better.

Yeah, that’s generally how treaties and military alliances work. If you’re part of the club, you have allies to come to your aid. If you’re not in the club, like Ukraine, nobody is treaty-bound to send troops to assist you. Glad that’s cleared up.

You do realise anyone that wants us to get involved in the fighting, that you can get involved...

Catch a flight to Poland, nearer the Ukraine border the better, then hitch a ride or nick borrow a motorbike the remaining couple of hundred miles to the border - cross the border, then ask for a gun. Simples see.

Exactly. Zelensky has asked for combat veterans in Europe to volunteer in Ukraine to help fight against the Russians. If you’re so keen on helping the war effort, do that.

Kid I knew at uni dropped out and joined the Kurdish YPG in 2015 as a volunteer to help fight ISIS in Syria.

I was thinking all this earlier today, when he made that appeal, if people really want to get involved, there is nowt stopping them. As regards any rules around that, does it really matter, because chances are you won't be coming back. One way trip to hell, but what a way to go.

Finally! The SWIFT system is going to be switched off for selected Russian banks, which means they will no longer be able to make global transactions. All assets being freezed for the Russian central bank.
