Radz is supposedly going to talk to Ayliing, Cooper and Dallas and gauge the feeling in the dressing room
It's heartbreaking to say but something has to change and Bielsa is adamant he won't change. There's only one choice.
Exactly and James getting fouled against the bindippers, they always give the decision to the rich ****s Game over, Citeh beat Everton
It's sad the **** being directed at a man who delivered us out of the wilderness. If anyone thinks changing the manager now is good for the club they are deluded. Let him finish the 12 games and relegation or not, thank him and he'll be gone.
I It's not our decision to make and I'm thankful for that. Who could come in with 12 games left and make a difference ?.

No. So everyone take a deep breathe and give them a chance to figure this out. How is changing a coach now going to solve anything? These players wont just learn a new system which will magically turn them into world beaters overnight. Bielsa must stay to see out the season… Coran H. 4h ago 43 likes Utterly ridiculous decision in my opinion to bring in an unproven Jesse Marsch ahead of a manager, who yes is going through an extremely difficult time now, but this month was always going to be difficult especially with the players we have missing. Bielsa knows his players and they know the system, we have some really winnable games coming up and I just don’t see it a risk worth taking. He has given us so much he deserves the chance to try and put it right. Suicide sacking him now imo Paul M. 4h ago 1 like We're screwed Phil..... screwed . Could you ask Bielsa whether it is a case of him believing in his system in the face of it's obvious flaws (Man marking.... worst run in top flight ever etc). Or..... Is it that he is unable to adapt? Has no idea as to how to set up differently. Love to know your take on it to? (Do understand you have to keep your cards close to chest to preserve relationships etc so read between lines is fine ). Bryan P. 4h ago 8 likes Coran. H I totally agree with this statement Chris R. 4h ago 11 likes Hi Phil, I remember when, after the Blades went down, you spoke about how they'd failed to build after a good season. At the time, you said it won't be a problem for Leeds because they wouldn't make the same mistake. Then they failed to strengthen in the summer and you kind of excused them. Then after the January transfer window you kind of excused them again. Anyway, I know you don't control transfers but you do help set a tone, and with hindsight I kind of wish you'd been a bit more critical, because it seems to me that we've repeated exactly the same mistakes as Sheffield United. Sorry this isn't a question. Patrick O. 4h ago 1 like They can **** right off Philip M. 4h ago I agree he really needs to take responsibility Patrick O. 4h ago 1 like Thinking about it I am hoping it is a ploy to see where the players stand on this, and hopefully get them focused back on playing. They also have to carry the can here. Chris R. 3h ago 2 likes We weren't expecting to win a lot of games, but it's the way we've lost that's the problem. Except for one glorious minute against Man U, we never even looked like we were competing. It simply don't look like we belong in this league right now, and that's a huge problem. James G. 3h ago 4 likes @Chris R. Staggered at your suggestion that this has anything to do with Phil Hay. He is a journalist who is paid to write articles which express an opinion. Senior management and M Bielsa are completely to blame for this. Robert P. 3h ago 9 likes If I was a betting man, I'd bet on the man who brought us to dance to get the best results. Keep. The scorelines have been unacceptable. Absolutely. But we would've expected to lose these games. Everton is the exception, although if we're being realistic, a draw was probably fair based on the two teams. Things aren't rosey, but we know Bielsa's system can work. We got to make it work against the teams coming up. Chris R. 3h ago 2 likes Hi James G. I'm definitely not blaming Phil Hay for the outcome, but at the same time, I do think that he is the singlemost influential journalist covering Leeds United, and I wish he'd held the club more to account. Would it have made a difference to where we're at now? Probably not. Would it still be better if he'd been a bit more forceful in not letting them off the hook? Yeah, I kind of think so. Perrin A. 3h ago 4 likes It's not the results but the manner of the defeats Craig W. 3h ago 3 likes I definitely think the players views on whether he stays or goes should carry a lot of weight. Bielsa wanted better got nothing. Very very weak journalism. Bielsa too nice to call these cowboys out but why the nutella nose treatment for Angus and Co? Very odd? Perrin A. 2h ago 1 like Man United have drawn with Aston Villa, Burnley and now Watford. You're absolutely wrong if you think I didn't expect Leeds to get something from that game, not however with the way we play but they have been poor. The results are not a surprise the performance was not what I was expecting, total capitalisation in our last 3 games as well as the Everton game Keith M. 2h ago Absolutely #blamephilhay Rob W. 1h ago Agree Shay C. 1h ago Spot on Chris R, spot on. Michael R. 42m ago Maybe we should make Phil Hay manager for the rest of the season and he can atone for his mistakes. Tim B. 33m ago Don't want MB to go but probably too much pressure on AR from the 49ers to give him more time. Lance D. 14h ago 16 likes Hoping that this is the game that the players justify the faith Marcelo has shown in them. He didn’t think he could bring anybody better than them in during the window so they owe it to him to prove he was right. Sometimes the result is much more important than the performance. I’m thinking that applies to the rest of the season. please log in to view this image Phil Hay STAFF 10h ago 3 likes @Lance D. no disagreeing with this - although Leeds are a team who need to play well to get results. Under Bielsa, they’ve never been a side who bluff their way through matches. But absolutely, results are everything at the moment. Chris G. 14h ago 2 likes High chance of both Burnley and Newcastle picking up wins today so I hope to god we get something from this game! please log in to view this image Phil Hay STAFF 10h ago 2 likes @Chris G. they’ve both found some form and that’s the risk when you don’t have any - that teams below start to creep up. I think a lot of us, me included, felt like the bottom three/four were trapped there a few weeks back. The picture is starting to look very different Stefan S. 7h ago @phil Hay yea i was hoping the bottom 3 would consolidate like it did last season. Fulham had a little flicker and west brom pulled off a couple shock results, but they eventually petered out while sheff utd was DOA. Huge crystal palace fans again today aren’t we Liam B. 13h ago 2 likes This one is more winnable as Spurs blowing hot and cold. What we need to avoid is the Everton debacle where we gave a team low on confidence (so potentially brittle if their high press didn’t work in first 5 mins) such a boost with confused positions that had us carved open 2-3 times without anything special. I’d gamble with Hjelde/Firpo even Atruijk at LB so that we can get Forshaw, Dallas and Klich in midfield If Raphinha wants to work 90 then I’d drop Harrison and play Gelhardt as a traditional 9, Rodrigo 10 please log in to view this image Phil Hay STAFF 10h ago 3 likes @liam B. Spurs are a strange team and the amount of chat about Conte’s future is bizarre given that he’s only been in the job for a few months. Every poor result seems to lead to chat about whether he might walk away - chat he’s always willing to engage in. It seems like a strange marriage tbh. As for Leeds, it’s become very difficult to know which XI is best. Dallas in midfield? Could be a good move. Tighten things up potentially. Struijk at left back has been okay previously and Bielsa said Koch would be available today. But what you wouldn’t give for a settled, dependable line-up. Jim J. 13h ago For the love of God, Marcelo. Just watch Burnley/Spurs and do what Burnley did. I’ve never thought 3 pts were ever more important than they are right now. If Dyche and his misfit toys can beat Spurs 1-0 we damn well can too. If we employ the same techniques one more time that have seen us get battered to hell and back over and over and over this season, I just might question whether or not I can trust the guy now. I pray that he finally sees it. How many goals have we shipped in February? A boring 1-0 win with like 3 shots on goal sounds so tasty right now. When the lineup is announced we’ll know everything we need to know about how the game will go. Something’s gotta give and I hope it’s today. MOT Any thoughts Phil? Leon G. 11h ago 3 likes We don’t have the players to play like Brexitball Burnley, nor would I want us to. They’re like a set of rugby league players. Sure we need to be way way stronger defensively, but we also need to play to our strengths which we often haven’t done this season. We simply need to win unfortunately still without our spine of Coops, Kalvin and Bam Bam. It’s going to be tough, a dog fight but we have to get this season going again. please log in to view this image Phil Hay STAFF 10h ago 1 like @Jim J. it would be very difficult at this stage for Leeds to veer off and adopt Burnley’s tactics. But I’d happily settle for a tight game in which Leeds don’t collapse. That’s been the problem increasingly - they can play well in spells but as soon as they come under pressure, they fold. Some resilience is badly needed before anything else. J T. 9h ago Brexitball? Matthew C. 9h ago 1 like I'd rather it go to the nerves of a last game decider at Brentford than watch us play like Burnley We play high risk football, but this squad now only know how to play the Bielsa way, a way that Bielsa has devoted his entire career to develop and pursue, no chance of anything else Jim J. 6h ago We’re down by 3 with 60 minutes to play. Oliver M. 13h ago 6 likes Start Dallas in midfield. Simple Kevin R. 12h ago 1 like Kane dropping deep and Son running in behind could cause absolute carnage today. Someone has got to watch Kane and stop those balls because he can find one of many holes in the Leeds defence. This definitely feels like a get the defence right first sort of game and frustrate Spurs before picking them off. please log in to view this image Phil Hay STAFF 10h ago @kevin R. Spurs will try and exploit the man to man system, as other teams have done. It’s the way to create gaps and overloads. Managing Kane and Son will be a big task. Kevin 12h ago 2 likes We need to be more compact , we need to play Dallas in midfield , with Firpo and Ayling in their proper positions. I fear we won’t , Kane drops deep, leaves large hole behind him, 1-0 ..rinse and repeat , 3-0 Spuds. Burnley, Newcastle win Graham W. 12h ago 1 like time to see if the much vaunted analysis has been done. have lessons been learnt from the last few games or will we have players out of position be wide open and easy to play against? That's how it is, save for a couple of untouchable teams at the top. We don't have to play Mourinhoball because Bielsaball works, and thrills, when we get it right Mourinho has never been more than 3 seasons anywhere, he inherits teams that are not quite successful enough for their vacuously ambitious owners and fans, and eventually and inevitably turns them into a boringly poor run of results I expect, and want, Bielsa to stick to his principles and 'go for it'. In the ER shop after the match, a lad got a call from his brother telling him that Bielsa had walked. No idea where he got his info from, other than to say 'reports'. That old chestnut! The same news was coming in from a variety of sources in the shop & it was well-discussed. Of course, being at ER, there's wasn't any internet to go online & check. Many seemed convinced. Have to say that I thought it might happen, given our series of debacles, but when the lad told me, I just froze in shock. I still hope he stays. Anyone got an update on the Cooper, Phillips & Bamford return dates?
For us yes but by all accounts everton were robbed of a point. These officials are corrupt and biased to the top clubs. You see it every week snd it's blatant. Today we had klich? Fouled being held back on the edge of the area and got nothing.
I know Leedsdude. Personally I think the players are letting him down, but he seems to be stubborn and maybe that'll be his downfall. As I've said before, his contract ends at the end of the season, so maybe that's the time not to renew.
I'm just thinking for the good of the club and Bielsa himself. I love the guy, I really do but with each passing defeat he looks more and more dejected blaming himself and protecting the same players who are underperforming week in week out. We have a week off now until next Saturday at Leicester. Then we begin 4 games in 13 days. If there is to be a change of manager it is now or never. This time next week is no good to anyone.
Fair enough Emu. I know what you mean, but I can,t see the point of bringing in a manager for 12 games.
And this is exactly why I come on to NOT606 instead of Twatter. Delete this ****e. We get enough rabid opinions here without bringing faceless ****e from Twatter on here.
To be fair to VAR they didn't have the angle from behind the goal which would have shown exactly where on the arm the ball struck him. That's my story and I'm sticking with it...and **** Everton
