They’re a neat team, but without much of a finishing threat (much like we have been at times in the past). But they don’t have the depth of squad to really cope with tiredness/injury, I don’t think.
Abramovich handing over control of Chelsea...he obviously sees which way the wind is blowing https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/60540278
The implication being that he is doing this before things are taken from him by force ? Isn’t this more that he is in Russia now? And potentially won’t be allowed to leave by Putin until this situation is over ?
The word control (not to mention the word ownership either) isn't mentioned in the statement. Seems quite wolly to me.
The implication is that doing business from a Russian perspective is going to get tricky. I don't see him getting assets confiscated, but I believe that it might become impossible for him to continue to have the same influence he has currently
any thoughts on THAT handball decision Tom? Pretty hard to fathom that not being a pen against City for me.
Are you kidding me? how the **** was that not handball? They operate by totally different rules to us. This plus the overturned pen against us. It’s absolutely mind boggling
VAR to Self "So it is a pen, but if we say no to it, we piss off Liverpool & Everton" VAR to Ref "No Pen"
That's two weeks running that Everton have been denied a clear penalty for handball. Their fans will be fuming tonight.
a compilation of these decisions at the end of the season wouldn’t look good for VAR. blatantly biased officiating. That wasn’t even close to being unclear.
Ooh, I had a mate dislocate his finger playing at Uni. He was walking around looking for someone to pull it back in while young men ran away screaming.
Nah the Romeu one was way less clear. That was ball to hand/accidental. This one he literally controlled it with his arm and VAR ignored it. Absolutely ridiculous
Don't get me wrong, it's an awful decision by Kavanagh on VAR. It's a clear pen for me. I don't understand what's changed TBH. Earlier in the season that would have been given by VAR.
hmm, I wonder. What’s changed apart from city dropping 4 points in a couple of weeks and that would have made it 6? Rules based decision? I dnot think it was.
